i mean i wish i had my ssa zcons back... but i got a hell of a deal on the solo x and it gets stupid loud. cant hate on that and to only be running 600 watts to 1 12.... cant get much better than that

finally got my new radio harness with sub outputs i ordered in the mail yesterday. so last night i hooked up the oldschool kicker zr240 to the solo x 12 in a 4.3cf box tuned to 32.5hz its ALOT louder than i expected. what really surprised me is that i have the solo x wired at 4 ohm to the zr240 which is aparently only 120 watts hahahaha as u can see, it moves the solo pretty damngood. OS amps FTW!! tell me what yall think

welp im not going to ever have the power to really give this sub what it need to get down, so im looking for 2 sa8v2s, or some ssa subs. can only do 8s,10s or single 12. no 15s or 18s! subs must be in good fully working condition. the kicker is dual 2 ohm coils 2500rms/5k peak. weighs in around 60lbs... its a monster lol. coil has few small scrapes but nothing major. both coils read 2ohm and there is 0 rubbing noise. as u can see in the video below, sub is 150% fully functional! will also sell for $350+shipping.

ight so last night while i was looking over the solo x, i decided i gotta hear this thing. i remembered i still had a box i build for my 2 old zcon 12s chillin in the garage. only thing is it had 2 holes cut out for 2 12s. so after work, i grabbed it and headed over caseys house. we covered one hole up with mdf, glued, screwed and sealed it up nice. looks like shit but it works. we then cut the other hole a little bigger to fit the solo x in. got it hooked up to caseys audiopipe 3k @4 ohm so roughly 1500 watts. the box is 4.7 cubes net and tuned to 32hz. (rec. 3-6cubes ported) sounded ALOT better than exxpected. also, got a short video of caseys zocn 15 with a new port (47hz) i was surprised at this on how low it got even being tuned to 47hz. this is his single zcon 15 on a audiopipe 3k (getting AND taking 3000watts

yes it will be goin into a ported box haha abd yes i believe they are too. just need to find a decent amp for it..... hmm

wish i could lol. i dont have hardly anything in this solo x. if i hadent gotten the deals i did today, i wouldnt have nothing lol

lol i like the tight bass sound that ported just dont have Yea cuz you still a car audio virgin. Once you get in, you don't leave, then come back then leave then come back. Sounds like a bad relationship. I'd take something low dollar and turn it into an extreme low end design if you like that style of music or should i say sound effects, lol. im a car audio virgin? hahahahahahaha funny story

i couldnt take it no more guys! i was dying from the inside out because i was missing my favorite hobby of all. while i was half waisted last night (not trying to brag) i got to watching all my old videos of the hccas and zcons... so i got on craigslist this morning and hit a dude up. i ended up trading the 3 OS vfl 10s i had and $50 for 2 kicker l5 12s in a box. now before everyone starts in on the whole kicker thing, i dont have enough $ to get some nice sundown or ssa stuff.. the l5s are just a start. i have like $120 in them so i dont think thats bad at all... so glad to be back in the game!! And they are MINT condition...

shoudl be enough.. as for sub, iv ran every size zcon (12,15,18) and loved them all. casey here on the forum (frogcase) runs a single zcon 15 on a audiopipe 3k with proper electric in a 4th order. did a 146 out of the trunk IIRC

iv had 2 w7 10s in the past and loved them. they werent as loud as my previous systems but they sound so good and do have the ability to get loud in the right box

stack was getting a little annoying with the cab drone so im taking it off untill i get exactally what i want (8" black stack) so i put my regualre exhaust back on and picked up a 7" chrome tip on the cheap from my buddy
