  1. He is outta town for a week and I just got back into town from Ohio. So I will try to get pics when he returns. I also found out that the yard the truck was towed to "lost" his speakers. They say someoone must have jumped the fence and stole the stuff. And they are gonna submit paper work to their insurance to see if his stuff will be covered. IMO, someone there stole his stuff and they are using the insurance crap as a run around till they finally say they won't cover it. I've seen it happen before.
  2. Just saw this post. If you still need some decals, PM me your address and I will get you a couple pronto.
  3. Fixed And thanks. I appreciate it.
  4. And that is Navids half eatin burger, not mine. Thats all I have pics of tonight. Maybe some more tomorrow.
  5. Knocked out a trim bezel for the iPad and then made the box to house it.
  6. It was one of those days where I couldn't focus on one thing. I was being pulled in other directions to work on stuff. The trim piece for the relocated controls was textured and then I realized I was outta the right color to spray it. So that will be done later.
  7. Ready for the color match
  8. The new location
  9. Plastic welded the 2 switch housing together and made mount for them The crooked looking button panles are like that from the factory. The buttons line up and thats all that matters.
  10. As the title states, gonna fab an iPad2 into the dash bezel of a Hummer H2. To do this, I will be deleting the row of 12v plugs at the bottom of the bezel. I will be deleteing the On-Star. I will be moving the HVAC controls to the very bottom. Fabricating a single DIN Alpine HU mount right above the HVAC controls and below the iPad. Relocating the 4 wheel drive controls and the load managment controls to the underside of the steering column panel. And then of course making a motorized mount for the iPad2. Sounds like such fun doesn't it?
  11. Very nice dude. I have always wanted to do a clean IB build for myself but never had the car for it. I too like the stockish baffle you did. Would like to hear this one day, also. And I been trying to talk myself into buying a Challenger. I want one but I don't wanna spend the money right now. Maybe in the next year or so.
  12. I am not 100% sure on this right now, but the truck may have been totaled. He was hit from behind by a car going 50mph.
  13. I didn't. You don't. I use plastic to bond them together.
  14. It is body dropped. Stock floor body dropped.
  15. Just showing I have a range of building skills. It gets boring just doing audio related builds.
  16. I have some pics I will put up here soon. But basically, it is stock floored and has a new frame from the firewall back. Only thing used from the factory was the front frame clip and the shell of the truck. It has a new floor and new firewall built also. It is just a basic 4 link suspension to keep the rear end grounded and a bag behind the axle set-up. Doesn't get much lift, but then it wasn't designed to. My old 2 door Blazer was designed for lift and it got alot. But thats another topic.
  17. No system will be in this. You can't hear anything anyways over the motor. I try. I keep Ro with me cause he is good at it also and then you have Ryan over at SRQ and he has his guys. Other than that, I think everyone else around this county cuts corners so much it is rediculous. I can't do that to people.
  18. And the sound check. He played a song that has overall good sound and turned the subs off. It was sounding so clear and loud. I could have went alot farther, but it was hot and I wanted to eat my Campfire Blast from Sonic.
