once i get my 15" zcon im going to use my aq2200 on it, there very good amps iv had no problems with mine so far and it doesnt even get slightly warm, just gotta have a good electrical system and any of those amps would work great

yes, its alot of money to not know whats going on, if i was taking hundreds of dollars of peoples money upfront id want to let everyone know exactly whats going on so you dont get these posts coming up that look realy bad

just dont see why they would tell you to go ahead and order and get your money and then not tell you that they dont even have it ready for a few months, id be kinda upset too cuz alts arnt cheap

I had 2 piars of alpine type r coaxials in my maxima and boy was i impressed with them. They get very loud and maintain some real good sound quality. Also there are the rockford fosgate power series 6.5's that take 100wrms all day and those things got super loud but i thought the tweeter was a little harsh to my liking.

Iv heard nothing but bad about how kickers sound and have only heard nothing but good about ssa all around

yea i was thinking of doing a 15 with aero ports maybe tuned to 32 hz or so

That will depend on the box and tuning more than the driver. A BTL can do what your talking about just fine in the right enclosure. Try modeling the response curve and see what you get. I dont know how to do this or what kind of software to use. Just need to know what kind of box i would need lol

so what kind of box would make a btl hit lows real good but still maintain its spl?

im leaning more towards the nightshade or a zcon because i really wanna hit lows with authority but also get stupid loud haha, iv been told that the btl will be the louder of the 3 but im thinkin it wont hit lows how i want it too, i have a bl and my w7 hit lows better but the bl is louder

trust me my electrical and front stage are all ready for whatever i throw at it, like i said they will be in there recommended boxes, so your saying the zcon will keep up with those other 2 woofers? even though ssa says the zcon isnt a spl woofer? Just trying to spend my money right since i cant hear any of these before i purchase. I know the zcon will hit lows like a mug but will it get as loud or close to a btl or nightshade?

why are they selling the v1? So what would depend, i know your going to say the enclosure but any choice i choose would be in the proper box. Which one would have more output in the right box

well i mean i want it to hit the lows but mainly wanna get loud, not competing or anything just want to be as loud as i can off of 1 15

What verison nightshade is listed on the store? is it the newest one or is that the v1? and would a 15" ns take 2200 watts daily?
