  1. He is referring the payment service that wooferwarehouse uses. Depending on who they use it can take up to two weeks to process and clear. If it takes longer then a couple days then something is odd. No matter how we process payments they typically clear in 24 hours or less..unless you pay via check..then that is your fault haha.
  2. Should be some good work down that way. I know of one over in Victoria but that is a bit of a drive...if you were closer to me I would offer... We have several guys form the big TX though so they should be able to chime in with some info for you.
  3. Naw, we don't really have any use for subs around here. We have far to many as it is.
  4. As of right now we have 15 left but 10 may be sold....still waiting to hear back
  5. I have three 10" Memphis 10d4 subs. Two are in great condition and look and function perfectly. The third was used by a tiny dog as a chew toy so the surround sustained some damage. If you don't want to recone it can be patched and used, but I suggest a recone or new surround at the least. Price is pretty firm at $150 picked up or you pay shipping.....for all 3
  6. Yeah? Entertain THIS! ...GLWS lol You can entertain my photo area

  10. Not sure if I missed it, but what kind of truck do you have?
  11. The SA is not as happy in a sealed enclosure. SSA will work pretty good. I also have pair of Memphis HPO 10's that would work out really well in that enclosure if your interested.
  12. For the same reason that by large we are over weight and still don't care.
  13. tbh I have not heard this..but it could be true.
  14. smh, one of the true leagues out there. Between that and USACi the rest are just playing catch up. OP hit up the DB Drag forums, should be able to get you a list of amps.
  15. QC will always be a huge set back when China is involved. It is just simply not their strong suite. They typically are quick to help resolve issues, but until they get better with QC that will be another down fall of their practices. I'm not sure how much many of you have dealt with China, but I have dealt with them for a long time with various companies...never been happy with their QC policy...if you want to call it that.
  16. Funny thing about any OEM, and China is no exception here, quality and quality control are only as good as you're willing to pay for.Good drivers now are still going to be good drivers in a few years. As has been mentioned, the primary change in the market is going to be a continuation in the trend of more and more cheap drivers, more and more SPL drivers and fewer and fewer high fidelity drivers. High fidelity drivers will continue to command a premium price as well. I agree that when using an OEM in the states you have to pay more for better QC, but in China the general practice is they charge you for better QC but do not actually do anything different. Through some of my former employers we tried these tactics in China and found that it was truly a waste of money to pay for QC. I told them it was a waste being in China..but meh...to each their own I suppose.
  17. China is "ok" for parts. I have about 30 prototypes sitting here for myself and other companies and I find several faults all the time, mainly with the poor QC but the part quality is an issue as well. While companies like SA and a few others have found a way to work around those short comings, they are still there regardless and will limit what they can do. There is a reason why the better drivers from SA is assembled here in the states with better parts, glue, and much better QC. Overall I think if you work the system right you can take advantage of China and their prices, but mainly if you are only looking to get into the "I'm cheaper then you" situation and win out buyers. SA is one of the odd ball situations where he has been successful with his product while being built over there. I would guess it has more to do with his willingness to spend a few bucks to have custom tooling done to ensure he gets the results he wants even when limited by their part quality. So in short yes, the parts are "OK" and can be worked around. However, the vast majority of these pop up companies will be off the shelf items or even direct copies in some cases. That means they will not have much working for them other then a cheap price.
  18. I agree with Aaron 100%.. I just want to add this. With the low cost of China products you will see an increase of "online" based companies with very similar product. While this has been the recent trend already, it is in fact, going to get worse. The cost to have subs OEMed in china is crazy cheap even after shipping...this means that kids with student loans will be trying their hardest to have "their own" company.
  19. The RE calc is horrible.
  20. Nice... I picked up a 12W7 a while back at a pawnshop for $100...didn't even make it home before I had it sold lol.
  21. Mine helps me with my company..so yep she knows that I spend a ton of money a year on this industry.
  22. Not looking good for me. We are backed up and looks like working Saturday is a must for us.
