You can do it with 1 actually with a good design/build and a decent amount of power. When building for hair tricks you have to consider different things when designing then you do when going for sq or spl.
  2. Was a fun show all around. Pretty good turn out which was unexpected after the weather for the past few days. I had a great time and it was nice meeting everyone that I talked to.... Even though Ohjay may not remember all of the discussions we had lol.
  3. I'm sure it will hurt the overall turn out. They may not even open the truck itself for runs which will almost close down IFO.
  4. I had a deal worked out for our demo truck at one time, but it fell through do to lack of contact. However, I think this will be a good addition for SSA. Seem a lot of people are happy with their products over all.
  5. LOL, I will know more about having our shirts today. Anyone else in the OKC area coming down?
  6. Yep, we closed shop early yesterday and will stay closed for the weekend. All though this is an issue for some clients, it was done out of necessity for our employees and their safety.
  7. Naw, had a 1992 AWD 2.0 turbo Eagle Talon(same as eclipse). I owned a shop and put every part on/in the motor we could back then. Was a fun car to have for sure. And yea, I'm old lol
  8. they make us keep our windows up when we run. They started to do that at the track I went to a lot toward the end. However, I typically just never followed the rules. I went one time and ripped the system out and actually tried to run and I was kicked off the track for not having sufficient safety equipment on or installed in the car. meh...no biggy lol it was the last week I owned that car. well i figured most people would run with windows up anyways so it doesnt cause drag on the car.... idk maybe im wrong lol. I kept mine down to be an ass for the most part. I was young and wanted to show off every chance I had. You have to remember this was 15 or so years ago. Which was prior to anyone really knowing what a turbo charged 4 banger could do..so I was all about the show off aspect.

  10. Nice, I miss having my dsm loaded down with subs(was a record holding car in usaci) and still going to track on test&tune nights. Was fun as hell...nothing like having the windows down beating the crap out of the system the whole way down and still ripping off a sub 12sec pass lol..... I really miss that car now that I think about it more.....
  11. You could yes. That is like make a cheaper adjustable brace so it is reusable. Just need to ensure you have found a way to keep it tight and secure so it won't become lose or fall out once actually playing.
  12. Looks great. Glad to see the Gcon alive!!..... Now I want to see a wall of them in something......hmmm
  13. Great subs, but it really depends what you want out of your sub stage.
  14. I'm going try and get some "half assed" shirts tossed together after the thunder game tonight. My real ones won't be done until the end of month..I will post up if I get em done...if so I will be wearing one..if not..well dunno haha
  15. I will be there...not sure if I will bring the truck out there. I need to toss some amps in and the weather may not be what I need/want it to be to bring it out. I'm out west by Yukon, but I don't wait in lines so sorry on not being able to meet up to roll in together lol.
  16. Can you make it two 15"? I will do some calculations and let you know what would need to be done and what options you would have.
  17. Yea, that and the issue of air space lol. But it would work, in all reality I would suggest increasing volume as well if you change to 2 15s.
  18. Now I want two and get rid of the 15 xcon. You know the new enclosure we are doing or even the old one should work with the Gcon's really well.
  19. Making me feel bad over here, like it is my job to buy one and play with it. I bet you sell out of your first batch quickly.
  20. To get the most out of the bracing I would use some sort of metal tubing with plates on each end. If you can weld it would very easy to make them, if not then you can ask a local or have a shop do it. Won't cost all that much really and it is the best bracing per displacement you can get.
  21. Just found this pic too.. This is when we were rebuilding the mazda for USACi Finals 2003 or 2004... Here is what the truck looked like..sorta. lol Bad pic at friends house.
  22. http://www.oaudio.com/500W_SUBAMP.html Those are what I have here. Love them, they do rated or better and will run at 2 ohm with no issues.
  23. Not so sure on the giving part, but I could sell you the extra one lol... Yea, modeling it up would be a bit difficult but I would suggest some testing and see what works.
  24. I have some O Audio Bash 500 amps that I use. I have two for my HT setup, one for my computer, and one that I have no idea what to do with lol. When building HT/computer style enclosures you have to design them a little differently and a lot of it will have to do with the room and loading itself.
  25. There are a few options out there other then just PSI. Several forum members on various forums offer custom recones. I'm not saying PSI is a bad company or that you shouldn't go with them. I'm just saying that looking at all of your options before making a choice is the best way to go. It will allow you to make the best choice per what you want and with in the budget you are looking to stay in.
