I don't think its really paying for the name. I mean, look at a couple years ago, some of the 256 mb mp3 players were as high as 250-300. I don't think 300 for a 20 gig mp3 player is steep at all.

Well, like they said in the ECA post, XBL^2 is still a new technology compared to the standard underhung motors. I think as technology improves, we will see more and more gains from using XBL^2. I don't think there is a bandwagon when it comes to that.

That was back when we didn't know what we were doing and he was like, I wonder why my amp overheats after a couple hours of playing time, so we figured out that the amp was running .5 ohms bridged. He bumped it up to 2 ohms bridged after that. It aws on some dual 2 ohm alpine type r's.
