It depends on what voltage the LED's are. Most are 3-4 volts so you have to run 3-4 in parallel for it to handle a 12v source. The most reliable way is to run 4 3v LED's. 3 of them will be brighter but might burn out sooner. Some places sell them with resistors on them too. That way you would be able to run each one on a 12v source. I bought a bag of blue LED's but I lost it. They were fun to play with and blow up. I think the longer wire is positive and the shorter one is negative but I might be wrong. The eBay ones probably won't be as bright as the $4 a piece LED, but just use more of them in a cluster.

Ported... I wasn't impressed w/ mine sealed. It just doesn't seem like a sealed box driver. I went from a 137.7 on the old a/c to a 137.7 on the new termlab switching from sealed to ported (low tune in a convertible). That is anywhere from a 6-10 db increase. Picked up huge lowend too. You will like the results once you go ported.

Especially since his whole setup for amp/sub/box cost $250. He bought the tempest when it was on sale from visionary last christmas.

My friend's tempest ported @24 hz has that kind of bottom end

Wasn't his job to figure out how much it would cost the automotive companies to handle the lawsuits on the failed parts and see if it was worth recalling parts? I believe so. I think thats how he ended up getting the free salary from his boss because he said he would tell otherwise. I need to watch that movie again. Such an awesome movie.

Only one batt in street? I don't think I will be competing then. I would rather have a stout electrical system and a nice daily driver than risk killing my vehicle from all of that amperage draw..

Lets see: Small, fits easily in your pocket Works with iTunes (I think) which is a great program My 40 gig iPod is quite possibly one of the best inventions ever. Nicely priced, however I would splurge the extra $50 and get the 1 gig model. I say go for it

And so much for my hopes of competing in dbdrag. I think I will just be happy with my system and not worry about competing as much.

My friend picked up a pair of those 10s for 30 shipped.
