I usually crank up my space heater on max and sit the mat by it. That usually works. Just make sure to keep turning it as you go.

Second skin rocks, I think they might be having a preorder on spectrum v2 (liquid sound deadening) for 42 bucks a gallon. I have some that I think I will be putting in this weekend. I also have gone through 2 rolls of Damplifier and a lot of Black Bologna. It all works really good. I couldn't believe the spl increase I got by dampening the trunk lid and trunk. Customer service is top notch also. Ant is a great guy and he will usually cut you a deal if you are buying a lot of stuff.

Jamie brought me here. Don't think I'll ever go back to ca.com or caf... one is full of newbs and the other is always overloaded. This is a nice community.

I haven't listened to rap in about a month, mainly because I haven't heard anything in particular that I liked. I havn't heard much, but what I saw on 106 & park today for the first 30 minutes was horrible. I also don't listen to the radio due to lack of good music and bad quality. Any good new rap, rock, country, or anything basically that is worth listening to? Also, does anyone have a nice sq testing cd that they could send me?

I think I am done with my car audio after this install in my new camaro. BTW, I'll get some pics up for yall after I wash it this weekend.

I listen to most of his stuff. It was really cool at first, but now its just getting repetitive. He can flow pretty good, but I think he has run out of things to say (mike jones the movie?) I seriously doubt anyone wants to make a movie about him. Plus, how long has he been saying that Who is Mike Jones is coming soon?

I am in the process of buying a 2002 Camaro SS (monday it should be mine). I sold my old system except for my Planet Audio TT2250D and my Pioneer DEH-P860MP. I am getting a Planet Audio TT4200D, 2004 XXX 15", and a set of Rainbow Pro 3 Way components. For sound deadening, I have 3 gallons of Second Skin Spectrum. Jamie will be doing the Kicks for the Pro 4"s and tweeters, and the Vanadium 6.5" midbass will be mounted in the doors. He will also be doing the trunk install in all fiberglass. The trunk install won't be done for a little while so I will just make a temporary sealed box for the time being. I was wondering if I should get some Audiocontrol EQ gear to get it sounding perfect, or if the 13 band EQ on the Pioneer will be good enough.

I don't like the way the body kits look on the 98 and up models. At least the front... I wouldnt mind having it on the back and sides but I think it might look stupid like that.

My Planet Audio TT2250D on the 15. My Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP for the head unit. Prolly get Jamie to do the box/amp rack/kicks in glass, and paint the box and amp rack like my car. Also vinyl the pods. Next Thursday I'm going see it. I will be leaving for vacation in Hawaii and I have a 4 hour layover in Dallas, where its located. I'll keep yall posted later on when I get it, and put some more recent pics up.

My friend billy's 8w7 got low as hell. It got pretty loud too. Sounded really good, but I prefer the sound of my XXX 12 to it. But it was an impressive little 8. I think if he would have had a bigger port on the box he made, it would have gotten a good bit louder. Never heard Jamies 8 though. Supposedly it was loud or sumthin Now my friend mike has a 2004 8l7 in a kicker ported box, and we put my hifonics 1500 on it at 2 ohms and it was really loud. I would say around 136 on the termlab. Too bad he blew it. Its under warranty though. :denim:

Any clue on the price range? If the price is right, I may start having to recommend these to people. If it exceeds the e8a in performance, it should be an excellent sub. I don't want it falling apart like the elemental subs though, so that would make me buy one of these way before an e8a.

I know you're a guy who likes your 8s, and that you've metered against an 8W7 before, but if you've never tried one in your install, I'd try to pick one up if you could just to play with. I've played with alot of 8s (RE8, TB8, E8A, and a few other less notable ones) and I thought the 8W7 might be around E8A level, but it far exceeded my expectations. My friend has a 2004 Kicker L7 8. He needs an amp for it. It is DVC 4 ohm. He wants to put around 750-1000 watts on it. He also doesn't want to spend a lot of money. I have tried to find a good amp for that price, but its hard to get full power with that vc configuration.

Make sure you can get that into your trunk. Seems slightly big for a trunk box. You could use 2 sx 18s if you could get that much space in there...

I run Firestone Firehawk SZ EP50s. They are sticky as hell and I havent had a problem with them yet.
