  1. It will be on my NEW channel. Seems I left it uploading on my office computer(it was the fastest internet) overnight and it has not uploaded. I'm not quiet sure why yet. I will check it in a few and let yall know.
  2. It was estimated to take 470 minutes to upload. I will post link as soon as I see its uploaded.
  3. New video is uploading. Should be up in a few on my new youtube channel.
  4. Aw shit mang you just answered your question. The heatsink gets "very toasty" cuz it's a HEATSINK! It's pulling heat away from the amps internals. It's doing what it's supposed to. If the middle of the amp (where the more sensitive parts are) is really hot then that's a problem but if that part's cool then you should be good. And Duran is right. Say your H/U puts out 2 volts which your amp turns into 40 at 3/4 gain. If you get a new H/U that makes 4 volts and your amp turns that into...40...at 1/2 gain, then the amp is still making the same power and you didn't do anything. Having the gain up high is NOT BAD, if that's where you need it to be. Having it TOO HIGH is bad. This gain rule is funny to me...almost like people saying "don't ever push your car past XXXXrpm cuz that will mess it up." Only true if you don't know what the hell you're doing. I have that same amp and it never gets hot. This is also in the 100+ degree Arizona heat, but I have proper electrical upgrades. What he said, what's "proper electrical upgrades?" And by never gets hot, you mean even the heatsink isn't hot? I find that a lil hard to believe. Also, he said his amp has a 150 amp fuse, while yours is a new "constant power" series and shouldn't have a fuse on it? (Not tryin to be all lawyer-type but I'm sorta thinking he has an older power series amp, unless I either read what he posted wrong or they hide the fuses on those new power amps.) with low voltage my saz1500d was very hot. After installing a dc power alt, my saz1500d was cool to the touch. Not hard to believe. What's low voltage? Below 12 volts? Below 11volts? I ran a 1500d between 12-14.5 volts, and mine always ran "warm" after any real long length of time(10 mins or more of hard playing). I don't see how going from 12 volts to 14volts is going to change the temptature. If anything, I would think it would get hotter because its putting out more power?
  5. Lol, I put weight. I meant wait* oppps.
  6. Because its not done yet silly. Plus he said he's POS cd player won't let him. Trust me, it will be worth the weight.
  7. Lol. Yeah I'm on it. Awaiting on Lance to finish up a few little details then it will get a full video walkthrough. Like I said I got BIG things planned.
  8. I have no light in the sky. I must be out of luck. Lol.
  9. Sencheezy, one step ahead of you. Just wait, I get big things planned for Lance. Lol.
  10. A evil laugh is in order as awaiting for my master plan. Bahahahahaha.
  11. I said in theory. Actually it should be louder with low power than what you stated. Because there isn't any loss for factors. Sooo, sounds like its not as efficent as it should be. I would assume doubling power from 6kw to 12kw wouldn't increase the full 3dB. Its hard to say exactly what the gain would be, I'm just saying. Also, Aaron, how can I get in touch with you the easiest?
  12. Well, you got to think, if it did 130dB with 150watts, it wouldn't be near as loud with full power. Doubling power adds 3dB in theory. 178 at 12k 175 at 6k 172 at 3k 169 at 1.5k 166 at 750w 163 at 325w 160 at 162w 157 at 81w 154 at 40w Soooo. Also I did these number in a hurry. They could be off. Just shows a example.
  13. dude get your shit out of here man. no one in here was talking shit and you have to go and ruin it. just to let you know my DD dealer is Kyle stephens . The marketing director for DD. so i think he JUST MAY know what hes talking about. quit attacking me on here bro, your not proving any point. i dont even know what you look like. untill you can prove your as big as me, or have had as many systems as me. then you can talk. just take your shit elsewhere. we were all having a good convo in here untill you came with that crap. id whoop your ass hard bro and you know it. heres a taste =] dont be the next little boy... You need to be attacked. Your a idiot, I'm just the only one who wants to point it out directly, in this thread anyways. I don't care who your dealer is, as I didn't say YOUR dealer is full of shit, but posting saying what you said doesn't mean SHIT. Now if you would of said a NAME to begin with, that might make people believe more. You posted stuff you could of pulled out of your ass or the person who told you ass. You didn't post any proof. Hell you can say you did 180 dB with 1 10 and 200RMS, swear a million times, but without proof, whats the point? And just because YOU don't know who I am, doesn't mean I don't know anything. And just because you have had a few instals doesn't make you a expert. Hell most audio enthusist, don't know or understand half what stuff in this industry means. Doesn't mean they are stupid, just means they don't fully research every detail. You think your special, you posted a thread bragging you knew the Fi N3 could be played daily, but in reality, it isn't a secret. Its not suggested for the best daily sub. So therefore everybody suggest the N2 for daily. Its not like we are stupid. Just like this thread too, you brag you know something somebody else doesn't, but your wrong again. So do us a favor, keep your specialness to yourself. Or is that a problem? Do you need the attention because in real life nobody pays you any?
  14. Could of been read either way. Just need to clairify. I'm surprised the cone held up that much honestly. Not knocking it or nothing, but its not even a special pressed paper cone. Just a standard "daily high power handling" cone persay. I've seen damn strong paper cones fold at 155dBs(same cones held up to 179.4) It has to do with the install also in how much it can hold. So just cause A-Team could do 178, doesn't mean anything less it won't happen.
  15. Exactly. If a XL can do 175.5 in a install, I bet there are a dozens subs that will be within 1-2dbs from it. Greater than or less than. One thing that limits subs at that level is being able to handle to pressure. You can't adspect a thin cone for a 150RMS sub without any reinforcement to handle that kindof of pressure. Take DD 9500 stock cone with standard dustcap. It can't handle nowhere near 180dBs. But step up to their "special" very expensive composite cone, and your good to go.
  16. 180 has already been broke with 1 sub?! Or is this with one DC sub? I hope DC has a different cone, their standard won't like 180 well. And all this DD talk, supercharged, really?! Bahaha. DD is trying to hype up there product once again. Not that it won't deliver but regardless, what's the point in it? I actually think half the shit you,Chris the man, post is bullshit. And you have no idea the half shit you say or what it means. Seriously dude, you need to quit posting nonsense. Please actually research instead of going on "hear say".
  17. Also, on a number. Hopefully since I touched it, it will be loud. we'll hafta see.
  18. I am not against someone buying me gifts, but touching my settings again will have him drawing back a nub! When I get the rest of my electrical installed, I think he will change his mind. No sense breaking stuff when is on the way. I told you I haven't ever broke anything. I ran double RMS on my Q for over a month. And had zero problems. Lol. I just like messing wit Lance. I won't touch nothing unless I get permission.
  19. Seems that factory does well with high output amp. Will you have proto in 3 weeks? I need to email you. I got a semi favor to ask.
  20. There's not much that could rattle on the sub... Have you checked the spiders to make sure they are in good condition? Its possible the glue would of failed and cause a rattle. Best thing to do is take the sub out the box, and free air it.
  21. NAHT UH! Ima adjust your subsonic too. Its to high! You can change it after I leave, but I expect it back when I listen to it. I think it needs MOAR power! They are begging for it! Two Warhorsies will work well
  22. You should hear it past his normal volume. Its really crazy.
  23. But you posted I assume, that's not knowing. Now if you would of posted that in your post, I wouldn't of said anything. Maybe I should of put Jake in my post, cause I'm only really asking him. Also, I'm pretty sure Zenon makes amps bigger than 5k. I'm pretty sure they made a 7kw a few years ago, and also two 5k in one heatsink. I had a password for Zenons website, I'm not sure if it even still works or I would double check.
  24. Please don't answer the question if you don't know a 100% answer. Assuming and being not sure isn't a good way to post information. Its not like nobody here knows the answer to my question. Also, just cause it has the same casing style doesn't mean its the same buildhouse. I'm sure Jake can build cases then send em to the buildhouse of his choice.
  25. AQ2200D Irun an Audiopipe ap30001d @ 1 ohm (Turned up 2/3 @ 2000 watts) . The 18" BTL N2 slams, My buddy has 2 15" L7s with a custom built box. funny thing is, my box and his were built by the same shop! He has 4000watts and 2 15s. My 18" that is tuned at 32 hz. kills his! How do you figure you have 2k watts with gains turned 2/3rds up? Gains turned all the way up doesn't mean that's the only way to get full power out the amp.
