In a midrange is also effects the frequency response - which is why it is used for this driver. Theres your semi answer.

While I'm always a fan of DIYing things, at least he does excellent work...and I don't think really deserving of a comment like that I think he used very poor choice of words. IMO.

bingo And I don't totally understand the whole "Lets make a new car look like a old one". The whole retro thing confuses me. The past is the past, and lets keep it that way.
I semi like this car. Still just like the other cars, Mustang, Charger, and Challenger etc, they all look to big and bulky for me. But maybe its just me, I like the look of old cars made out of more metal than anything else. So I need to get with the times I assume.

Option 1 seems to be the best to me. Ported: 2.5 cuft tuned to 32-35hz. (whichever you like best) Sealed 1-1.5cuft. With some polypill if you like.

Yellow Flop under the hood and a Kinetik 2400 and new 3800 in back. Ive been bumpen it driving around and no problems anymore. I guess what they say is true. "Tuneing your amps with a DMM is not always the best". Nice, you wouldn't happen to have a pic with it compared to the hc2400 do ya?

From what I understand, there wont be any "standard" board 5000+ amps. He will soon be designing a whole new board/line to fill the 3000+ watts.
IMO, 2 18s will move more air. But having a single sub does add wow factor. Basically a coin toss.
Not bad pricing at all.
