Well, you gotta think, if people want a small footprint amp, there going to have to go to another higher priced company. I don't think 50 bucks is gonna make or break most people looking to buy a small amp, vs large. If anything, later do a short run of 800Ds, and see how it goes.

I idea of having a small amp is cool. It opens to a different market than a large amp. If a small amp can do what a bigger size amp can do, why not choose the smaller one? I say hold off on the 800d. Seems people is very happy with it right now.

Email Soundstream and see if they even offer recone kits for it.

Im glad you know so much about bandpass, and built so many of them. Got more experience with them than you do. And besides, that isnt even my design. Thats a design Steve Cook used to build 15 years ago. Then Jethro Eason started building it, and now everyone around here has been doing the 1 cube sealed and 1.25 ported for about 10 years now. oh yeah? You say so? You sure you got more than me? Im pretty sure, a 1 sealed to 5 ported would do a better job.

Not likely. They will be running out right around mid to late June then they will be out for 4-6 weeks. I hope to have my one by then. Got more work done on the Jeep today.
