  1. So I did a little shoppin around and found these amps within my budget... Which do you guys like out of these the most.... Soundstream PX1.2000D Precision Power BK1800.1D Hifonics BRZ1700.1D Hifonics HFi2000D Hifonics ZRX2000.1D
  2. you can google enclosure tools there are some online calculators you could use http://www.diyaudioandvideo.com/Calculator/Box/
  3. Would you prefer precision power over hifonics
  4. appreciate it bro, do you know any shops around town i should check out or just stick to online shopping? And i will definitely be needing one soon, i hope to have my amp subs and maybe comps by the end of the month. Also thanks guys for your suggestions, i will for sure look into them. Will the ssd's really handle 1k watts each continuously? It seems to good to be true, to have that much power and built at the quality it is...
  5. Good to be here lol! Ya, I like the SSA amps but they are a tad outside of my budget.... So I was thinking maybe a Hifonics HFi2000D then just wire the 10's to 1 ohm. its 2000w @ 1ohm and for only $209 from onlinecarstereo
  6. No other amps. and Im not sure what size it is... I'm new to this town and I have seen and heard of so many different brands since being here. I have no idea where to begin
  7. budget for the amp is probably between 2 and 3 hundy if at all possible and yes all stock electrical
  8. I have decided to get 2 10 inch FI SSD subs for my Toyo Camry. Im looking for a cost effective amp to push them close to there rms. I see it is rated 1000w rms but if I can save a few bucks and only get about 600w-800w to each I'd be happy
  9. @CrazyKenKid Alt - 125amp Battery = I will have to get back to ya on that I have a little experience. On my own rides that is. I used to have 2 Mach5 MAW-15's on a hand-me-down Orion 600D amp. Nothin big. Its pretty much a fresh build. Im redoing the entire audio system. @Theluker69 I like the dcon's Im looking for something snappy so I decided 10's I chose dcon's because I am not looking to compete with anyone just want it to be loud and crisp for me and any Hunnies at the Red Light
  10. One final question... I know the Dcon 10's are rated at 300 w/rms. But with most things I have seen from this specific brand, I am convinced it is somewhat underated in terms of Actual Rms (safely) What would be a good steady load to send to these two? P.s. Thanks guys for all your input. I remember why SSA was always my preferred choice
  11. 1. No more than 300 on an amp if possiible 2. Great SQ is a must. But still want the occasional Deep Loud Thump 3. ? 4. ? still cant .... please specify what your asking. 5. I don't think space will be an issue for the amp. I intend to mount it to the back of my back seat 6. 2006 Pontiac G6 7. Still havent decided on sealed or ported. Ported seems pretty nice but Idk yet 8. Divorced 9. None that I know of O.o 10. I havent messed with any car audio stuff in a few years... I'm still a little lost 11. " T " works
  12. Im purchasing some 10 Dcon's soon. And was wondering which amp would be good to run 2 of them.
  13. Thanks guys... Just tryin to figure out what Im gonna put in my G6. Not big into crazy loud bass.... just something thats tight with good sq, and still able to HIT HARD! when needed that is
  14. Lookin for accuarate tight bass. Which is better in your opinion?
  15. Always have liked JL !!German Engineering!! Used to have some Mach5 MAW-15's LOVED THEM!!! SSA's I have seen nice things
  16. I own a 2006 Pontiac G6 3.5L Sedan. Im looking to install a system, but its been so long since I had one. I'm looking for a lot of bass but SQ is more important. I was looking at the Icon and Dcon series subs here. What I'm wanting to know is which would be better in your opinion for Tight bass and great SQ. I was thinking 2 10's or maybe 1 15'. Thanks in advance ~T
