that planet amp is alright, if you get it pretty cheap, i had one on a XXX at one time and it pushed it fine, it may be a little much for that BL though

see the whole issue is mostly , that you have all these dealers/reps who shove xterminators down peoples throats and when they see this it kinda puts a bad taste in thier mouths for the brand in general.

theres a guy on SMD that has that exact amp on a 18 BTL

im using a USAmps XT4000 but weill be selling the amp soon and runing something else

its really dependant on what your powering it with. if your staying around RMS i would say skip paying for it, but if you prefer to go over RMS get it for thermal purposes

honestly ive listened to so many of the MX's now and yours was the only one i EVER heard with that noise, and just a few days ago one was inverted and was fine

Does the sub come with aluminum or copper coils? sorry if theres a thread about this but i looked on the site and couldnt find a difinitive answer on this. Also what exactly does the BP power option do, does it effect the sound of the sub whatsoever or is it something just to help with thermal capabilities of the driver? thanks in advance.

imo the q is a louder sub but the SE is better sounding

has anyone ever one one of those free amps or free subs, where and how do we find out

honestly id get whatever the ohm load your looking at running would be best at, if 2ohm get the kicker if lower get the sundown

i thought so also but in same boat as the Icons's i'd like to see some reviews before getting them
