hey guys. i built my crx style box this morning. it sounds very good.here are the specs on the box. 5.5cu.ft internal after sub and port displacement. 100sq.in port tuned 40hz. with the port plug,60sq.in tuned to 34hz. all i have left to do now is bondo and paint. charles

i'm building my new crx style box for my dd 9515 2-morrow. i wanna know what i should tune my spl port too.i have it designed for 50hz right now,but i wanna wait and get some peeps opinions on it 1st.i will be building a 36hz daily slip for the box also. i'm gonna call digital designs in the morning and see what they think. thanx guys. charles :thud:

yea. its decently loud.i wish it was louder.jamie liked it at mgn.hopefully clash of the titans will still be on in april at lamar dixon.if so,i'll have my jeep there,demoing it. charles

you missed a kikass show.the loudest vehicle in the world was there. 175.8 on the termlab.it was a real great show this year tho.you should try and come for clash of the titans in april.i'm gonna get jamie to put a sticky up for that show also!!! charles

thanx for the reply delvryboy. i'm thinking of trying sum 6-1/2's or somthing of that sort in my rear doors. that way i won't have the ugly 6x9 boxes up top,and i'll still have loud mids. i was gonna do sum qpods up front and sum good coaxils in the front doors,and say screw rear fill.but i can't stand when the mids are just in front of me.i have to have mids from behind too.so i may try the whole "SPEAKERS"in the rear doors idea. charles

seems that some people at CAF think that my install is ugly. sorry that i couldn't spen a fortune in fiberglass making it prettty for them. ohhh well... charles this is a pic of my g/f's nephew!!!!!

hey jamie!!! i'm of course going.trying to get a final count of all the peeps going to hooters with us.there were like 25-30 peeps gonna go,and now they dunno.but whatever. the show's gonna be fun nonetheless.trying to think of a parking lott to go to after we eat.so we can check out other peeps installs,and maybe attract some people over there.then we can ask them dumb audio questions and when they give us a dumb answer,we can laugh at them....not really!! charles
