Yeah my bad guys I did the sketch just to give some what of an idea the port isn't cut like that over all it slams for what it is going to up grade the subs to something current with in a couple.of months once I can get rid of these and afford somthing else going to have about 2k RMS on tap once i get the right electical but for now here is a link to the subs playing

Hey guys to give a little info on my set up so far, I'm sort of on a budget but in need of bass who isnt right? Well i bought 2 2010 kicker cvr 12"s for $100 for the pair going to have them on a crunch pzi. 1500 i know p.o.s amp but its what i got for now the box specs. are: 30 inch wide X 14 height X 29 deep. Port is going to be 4 inches wide X 12.5 inch tall X 18.5 inches depth tuned to 32 hz with 45* in the corners each sub is getting 2.486635 cubic feet each would this box sound good or what should i add or take off. Any info or input would be greatly appreciated

you should put your stereo at your loudest listening level that you usually play at a normal basis then you turn your bass nob up all the way and slowly turn your gains up on your eq until its at a satisfied listening level.. now you can turn your bass knob up all the way and no distortion or trying to make the amp do more then it can dirty signal

if i mont mistaken some manufactures suggests tuning at a certain level because thats where there drivers peak at that hz but will still be able to drop in the high 20"s all depending on the driver.. ive herd from a few 33 hz is prime but others say they like 40 hz idk?

i talked to mechman and dc a while back but lost the emails and just got this job at mandalay bay casino in vegas so i can finally afford one soon.. plan on running about 3k rms and the 80 oem 80 amp just isnt cutting it lol

ok so heres the deal just hooked up my system the other day and turns out i got nasty volt drop from 14.3 to 12 with my amp setting on a little less then half no bass boost head unit at 3/4 so heres the question what brand alternator do you run, amps on it? price you payed for it.? Ive been looking around and i have mechman alt. dc power georgia power and irragie alt im shooting for 270 amps.. would be appreciated thanks in advance

i had a mtx te1500.1d i believe the model on it was called. if you send it in to mtx with out a warranty depending on the model they charged me 90, you just have to call customer support to get a quote and a ra number they should tell you the cost they said the 90 was flat rate no matter what was wrong with the amp. worth a call

was watching tuffguy40's vids and came to check it out and liked what was going on

couldn't you use just a dab of hot glue? so that way it would hold it but not permanently damage the gain nob and if anything goes wrong or needs adjustment you could always peel it off just a though..?

whats up guys... just posting up the start of my box build.. the detentions are 15 x 30 x 30 6 inch slot port around 6.35 cubic ft before port around 4.5 after. the driver is going to be a re audio xxx 12 not sure the model though heres some pics not done yet still need to run sub wire and cut the speaker hole let me know what you think
