See, that was always my thought. He just picked the YT up last week, new. Put it in, went to start it, and click. There goes the relay. Wouldn't start. So, ill have him take it back and exchange it. Maybe it is a bad Apple. I'll have him check his wiring too. Just in case he's got a short somewhere. Anyone else had this issue?

Buddy has a 2006 fusion. He put a yellow top in and he said it kept tripping the c/b? Relay says the dealer told him that the battery was too much for his engine electrical. ( I haven't a clue on what Ford does with their junk). Now he has the original battery back and no problems. Any insight? Btw they did say had he had the 6 cylinder he would have been fine.

My HU it a JVC AVX830. I have the option to change the q on my lows and mids in the eq. Now I've noticed when I change the q to a lower setting the speakers seem to play "louder". What does this do? Is this based off the qts of the driver? How should it be adjusted. Right now I can't seem to get the tuning right. It either sounds hollow and muffled or the highs drown out the words. Could someone enlighten me?

I didnt get to see what he would burp. But the park and pound( you can see the mic in the start of the first vid), was 139.9. Not sure what level 15's they are but, when he started the first time my boy scrambled to put his ear muffs on. it was a riot )

Most events are a joke any ways. What I love is when someone can have a basic stereo and they have no competition, and they become state champs and think there amazing. Not everywhere, but certainly see it here and there heh. For the most part you were on it. Most of them didn't seem to have their stuff together. Nor, did they pay attention when being addressed by the mic controller. But a couple of people had some decent stuff. My buddy with the three 12's did a 150.3 . He could have done better if he was more familiar with the new knob. Wasnt rolling it before. He needs better electrical. Now, there was a guy with 12 DC Audio 15' s in a Yukon xl. On the park and pound he did a 139.9 I think it was. I was twenty feet away and could feel it in my chest. I have video of him. That I will try to get on here later. They were kinda loud in his ram but they are definitely louder in my ramcharger. Has a pretty good cabin gain. Mind you, this is playing by ear on that. Right now the subs are at a.45 to the hatch and the port is up. May switch it around where the port is back( subs firing the same). I think it might lower the tune a bit too. Port will sit kinda close. I'll start a build log when I'm closer to the Z. Got my door panels started already. Anyway, I hope to see some SSA people there. If you do come, I drive a white ramcharger. Love to meet you.

Check Alcan springs they are pretty reasonable and offer a heavier duty version as well. http://www.alcanspring.com/index.htm , they can make em'. Also they aren't too bad on prices. Looked into some for my cherocar back in the day. Also semi bags and a small tank would do wonders. Power it via compressor, or put some gauges in and have an air line fitting in the cab.(that's what my buddy has done to his dually). Might want to verify load rating on that rear axle too ( just my .02). Looking good though man. Can't wait to see it done.

Also might check to see if you shut your HU amps off. I have that option on mine for running everything through external amps. Sub plays, music doesn't. Just a thought.

I do have a question. Why run power and ground wires from battery A (front), to batt B (rear)? Since both batts will be ground to the chassis/frame, would this not be sufficient?
