Remember, that's only your system drawing that much power. You also have all of the other accessories going draw on that too. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but, my opinion would be shoot over. More spent now could save you from spending way more later.

well i am looking for a double v pulley. those all seem to be serpentine.

I've looked around a bit and could not find a small v belt pulley for my Denso alt. 3/8 shaft I believe. Looking for something in like the 2 " range. Anyone know where I can get one? Need the right nut for it.too.

It's been on charge since about 6 pm yesterday. ( charger will kick off when its done), ill pull it off when I get off work. Test it ( for a base), then test it again tomorrow morning. Thanks for all the help.

yeah its a couple years old. i bought the yellow so i could run with the red. i'll put in on charger with the trickle charger. til i get off in the morning ( 3rd shift). then i'll see where its at and hopefully by friday i can have two batts wired up. thanks!!!

I took my red top out an put in my yellow top( got it for 50 bucks). I thought maybe my red one was going bad. Buddy of mine put his meter on it. It showed 12.63v ( that was about 15 min after shut off). I took it out ( a day later) and measured again 12.63v. So, i wait one more day 12.63v . My buddy said that 12.63 was low for those ( should be around 13.3 according to him). what do you think? Is it going bad, should i wait a bit longer and see if it drops or just run it with the yellow top (parallel)? thanks

Bought a Denso alternator from alternatorparts.com. It's a 220 amp unit part number N1ERIF220. I need a small v-belt pulley and nut for it. The pulley I have on it is slightly bigger than the serpintine one that came with it.

Great then its not a matter of if , but when ill be able to get it. If my buddy and I get these couple jobs lined out( starting our own business), then it'll be sooner than later. BTW, have you guys thought about making amps too. We need some more US quality amps. That's one of the huge selling points for me on the subs you produce. Not trying to rock the boat but it would be cool, no?

A beauty panel would be fine by me. Plus I could still BEAT DOWN the block while I construct the panel. Now on another note ( pun totally intended), friend of mine mentioned aiming the sub 45 degrees to the rear hatch. So that it bounces from the hatch, to the roof, then it donkey punches me in the back of the head (as it were). Would this really have a positive effect on my numbers( or my all out experience)?

I'm leaning toward a Zcon 18. But , I have a few questions. First, would the z work in a fiberglass enclosure? I would like it to be an aesthetically pleasing enclosure as well as perform. Just want to make sure that beast won't destroy my box. Second, I listen to everything and was wondering if the z will keep up with all my music choices? Not really chasing numbers but, wouldn't mind doing well if I chose to enter a comp. It's going in a 91 dodge ramcharger. Will be powered by 2 planet audio ac5000.1d's ( 1600W rms each) strapped.

My insurance with state farm only covers parts not attached to or in the vehicle( homeowners that is). Had to get comp on my major project even though it was in the garage.

Well, idle speed is up. But man it seems like it fast in park. Still not thrilled though. With lights on in gear it is dropping from 14.38 to 13. Anyone know who I could get a pulley and a new nut for it?running a castle nut right now. Old one stripped out.
