I would check all of your wiring first...You dont want the wires just laying all around on top of eachother. And make sure you have a good ground. I had a humming noise that would hum along with my rpms as i drove, very high pitch and annoying. All I did was re-ground my amps and made sure all my wiring was seperated and it went away...

Very good idea Correct me anyone if im wrong, but that shouldnt affect the tuning just the internal cu ft of the box. Yep, it will affect the tuning. For a given port, if you add space to the enclosure (like putting a sub in with a smaller displacement) it will lower tuning. If you use up more space, you will raise the tuning. However, in MOST cases it's not going to be audible but it's the reason why several of the books out there on enclosure design and building suggest building the enclosure on the large side. It's easy to add some wood blocks or something to take up some space and bring the tuning up to where you want it, it's really really hard to add space. Now that i think about it that does make sense, thanks for correcting me.

So would that be the specs that are show on the subs like Qes, Qms, Qts, Xmax, etc..? Because when I used this one calc to build my box a while ago I think it did have me enter something like this. Thanks for explaining this to me, I appreciate it. And sorry if I got off topic at all

Ya but on the court website it shows....$100 (fine) , $95 (local costs) , $29 (state costs)..$224 is a good chunk of money there. im HOPING that that is like the max and i can get off really easy around $50. and 50ft is nothing..how about a mile or something..jk lol. w/e though, this is the exact reason ppl hate cops...for the BS like this...go catch a real criminal. Wow, 224$ thats pretty steep Mine was 50 for the violation, then like, 25 for state tax and then 25 for county clerk tax. Well there is two sides of that story to your last statement, over like, 60 or 70 percent major bust are because of "these" kind of routine pullovers. But it sucks either way you look at it. Thats true but you cant just pull over any car with big rims, tint, a loud system in hopes of getting something out of it, thats called stereotyping but i do see both sides...its just bullshit, i had no drugs, warrants so just let me off with a warning...but no, that city really needs my $224 after I pay over $2000 for the taxes on my house A YEAR for the same city....its all about the money.

I read up on the link you posted and it doesnt sound like there would be anyway to rig it how you want. I cant think of any way...sorry. Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge of these kits on here will know something that would help. Nope just a local cop...and its some little city thats honestly 5min long, they sent me to the neighboring city court house..the city i live in. lol. There was a good amount of traffic but i dont think im going to fight it, i dont have time for it, thought i was a free man though, until like a few miles down the road he came flying up on me..."he was like did you not think i was coming to get you"..lol But I live in Stow..its inbetween Akron and Cleveland.

But my windows were down...up here in OH the weather sucks so when its nice its a must to have them down. Hopefully all goes well though. I make it a habit, if I'm playing any bass, windows are up. There a couple of guys that live just down the street and have very loud motorcycles.
