well i see nothing wrong, although maybe putting a bit more labor on jacobs end, which im sure he doesnt really need for the initial screen, but i think it would help in the long run, taking into context the amount that IF jacob chooses to allow a warranty with the amp, the seasoned people who have the ability to support the amps, and the freak problems that DO happen, can be resolved. however if the person obviously has no clue what they are doing, and it can almost be expected that within a short amount of time the amp will come back for a repair because the idiot fried it, why should jacob have to deal with the extra BS when the person was not capable of running the amp in the first place. then again, could be easier and run no warranty due to the application that the amp is meant for, which would work as well. I believe the point TRZ was getting at is that if someone wanted this amp with warranty and jacob did do a phone calling session don't you think they would just say "yeah i got alts and batts send me the amp with warranty" even though they didn't have it ??.. I think jacob should do a limited (30 days) or no warranty on the amp...

6k or 7k Jacob i'm game count me in.... I can get a few people outside of team sundown on this as well (had 2 people ask if you were going to go bigger the other day)...

I think what he meant when he said they are the same driver it was the motor and assembly only the cone is different... as for the T/S parameters... You are comparing the havoc to a base model Q when the Q is optioned up, it has about the same suttle differences to a havoc as if you were comparing two identical drivers (of couarse no 2 subs have the EXACT same T/S parameters) that is why we were told the havoc is the same as a fully OPTIONED Q...

Jake Have you heard that one of your 3000D's just ate up a TC sounds 18" 5400 ??? Bruddah was doing a 151 on a TL @ 35 freakin hz did a 150 at 30hz... 2 sundown 3000D's on 2 18" TC sounds and it sounded freaking animal.... I hope Jordan takes pics of it..... It looks almost as bad as your MT We were at my shop around 11PM metering in the lot.... He went to demo it for a new installer at the shop and BAGANG We all started going nuts crazy laughing (witnessing a 3000D shred a TC sounds 5400 and beer will do that to you) SUNDOWN 3000D FTMFW

No the 1000D is cheaper by a few dollars (i can't say unless i am contacted directly) but those prices are full retail mark up prices (that you see on the online stores) not actual retail prices... The 1500D is a more then the 9.1 (i am going off the ed 9.1 price of 350) .... like i stated in other post... I have said many times that the 9.1 is a good amp... in MY personal opinion and that is what the OP is looking for OPINIONS regardless if i am a sales rep for them or not... i would pay a little extra for a good amp with a company that has a good track record then save 50 bucks on an amp from a company with a bad track record.

Brother those links (if you take the time to read some of them) have NOTHING to do with sundown vs eD it has to do with the company itself... in fact on CA.com there is a link of a screen shot of a few posts the owner of eD had attacked a customer... Yupp it was on their very own ICIXSound.. yeah they had to take screen shots cause that person was quickly banned and the post was erased... once again i never said (in fact search my record of post i state numerous times the eD 9.1 is a good amp) unlike you i am questioning the track record of the company... I am just stating based on your post the 1000D is CHEAPER then a 9.1 and the 1500D is a few dollars more... now i would rather spend a few dollars more on an amp from a company that has a better TRACK RECORD of taking care of their customers then on a company that has a track record of NOT....

The prices posted is NOT what the sundowns sell at "contact for best pricing"... Sundown puts out what they advertise... that's all i'm saying about that... Furthermore i would stand by a sundowns track record WAY WAY WAY before i stand by an eD track record... AND MANY will agree with me...
