  1. oh Nick your so modest.... there is one thing that makes it special... all that tender loving care that goes into the making of each sub
  2. philip just a friendly reminder to check all your crossovers and SS filters a new box will need you to re-adjust all those gizmos to get it where you have a nice output...... Also some swear by it but i don't like external ports (i am not skilled enough to have them work well for me)...... I'd invert it or go slot port with rounded edges (though you may need to recalculate the volume for the port displacement).. What are the ID dimensions of the box? I think the 1.1~ ish volume is a good size.... What is your port area (i would suggest about 15~16 square inch of port area)...
  3. muahahahaha I was able to get it muahahaha Burning to CD now...
  4. show stoppers - Danity Kane..... try it.. you'll like it
  5. for those that live under a rock SASE = Self Addressed Stamped Envelope
  6. Doesn't mean it couldn't be though...... jimj is just trying to say that there is no universal sub woofer that will fit into all/every install.... even Fi knows this as they doesn't just make ONE model sub but an array of models along with options to help their product "fit" into your car audio system... no one sub/company has the market cornered.
  7. it's a brand of sub woofer like JL or Fi, Re etc http://www.funkypup.tk/
  8. looks good bro
  9. Aiea Hawaii in the house We have quite a bit of 808 people here Yama Jockin Hawaiianbasshead Philip ME Hiloracer chit i can't remember then all Fi IS STILL on the down low in Oahu... though me and the boys are gonna change that soon.... As nick said... Find a box that gives more info about it's build.... Or ask the seller a question about the port sqr inch.... I understand what your saying "settling" for a box that will let you play some bass is totally your decision to be made..... just remember this.. a sub is ONLY as good as it's enclosure....
  11. bass boost should be set at 0..... All bass boost does is take a nice clean signal and dirty it up
  12. I'm the other Hawaiian LOL Yeah i have 2 SSD copper coils up for sale...... I am upgrading to Q's so i can throw much more power at my subs...
  13. Wagonized just got
  14. So an unforeseeable incident happened to my Md.1d a little over a week ago.... I contacted Jeremy (flakko) about the issue and he helped me track down the problem to see the proper course of action... i called UsAmps tech Greg Carlos... Presented my problem and his technical knowledge was spot on and knew immediately what the issue was....He was courteous and very insightful.....I was transfered to the front office to Holly to get a RA number to send my amp in..... Holly was really nice and very receptive to my issue.... I had no problems getting the RA number and got to laugh a bit at her attempt to pronounce some of the streets names here in Hawaii..... So i contact Jrlutor in an unrelated question and he actually went and looked up my RA number (i just mentioned that i had a wonderful experience with his tech/customer service and he went the extra mile to look up my RA number)..... I get a PM from Jeremy (flakko) that my amp is done and any shipping/handling/extra charges will be personally taken cared of by him... (now those may find this trivial but try ask anyone what it costs to ship chit to Hawaii these days)..... I would personally like to thank Flakko for the wonderful service..... I would definately recommend him if you are the slightest bit interested in purchasing UsAmp equipment (or a host of all the other things he sells)... Jeremy thank you for everything....
  15. you got mail jacob
  16. Neither Loyd nor Sean is on the Sundown payroll. Both of them purchased their amplifiers and are not and were not paid by me to do any testing. Testing was done of their own accord. I have no clue where the rumor that they work for me came from. Wagonized OWNED lol VIDEO: http://www.sundownaudio.com/misc/CIMG1519.AVI Wagonized OWNED again lol I see a partern forming here LOL
  17. loose you'll find many members here putting 4K RESPONSIBLY to their BTL's..

i agree with Tej... a Q in the sealed will really bring out some nice SQ and bare in mind that the sealed enclosure will hit the low end LOUD too (without sacrificing SQ).... you will hear this alot here..... Fi subs ALL MODELS can get loud and low and sound freaking damn good doing it...
  19. I guess you answerd your own question Earthman I almost posted the same thing he posted and if it wasn't for your post i wouldn't have realized he answered his own question.... time for bed i guess LOL
  20. price range? Sundown saz-1500d OR a sae-1000d (pm Denim aka aaron or ssaudio aka mark for the discounted price they have to list the MSRP price but nothing says they have to sell it at that)... If you head over the the Sundown forum area on this board and read up you will see they are EXCEPTIONAL amps with great customer service...
