I think some of the best sounding SQ subs to ME are the SI mag, the Fi Q and I am willing to place my money on the SSA Icon as well.... If i know Aaron and Mark the SSA icon can put some decent numbers up and sound pretty damn good doing it.... Price wise.... You may have to spend a little more to get a little more... all the subs i listed to me easily OUT PERFORM their worth in terms of money... Plus The customer service on all three are a hell-uv-ah lot better/personalized then most main stream brands...

plus i believe it is less strain on the cars electrical cause of a specific design on the amp... It's also on the link he posted... It is very impressive though

Notorious is that a Hifonics Goliath GX3000D amp you got ? If it is what ohm load do you hve it at 1ohm, 2ohm, 4ohm ?

A single dual 1 ohm will yield a resistance of either 1/5 ohm load or 2 ohm load If you get TWO D1 then you can wire it in 1 omh or 4 ohm If you want a single sub set up and want to get a 1 ohm load you need to get a dual 2ohm

Yeah those AC vents are pretty familiar so it's bugging me what kinda vehicle it is...

4000W x1 into 2 ohm What kind of recone did you get a BTL recone ? If anything less i don't think a BL/Q can handle that much....

Man that's exactly what i'm looking to do I was thinking of getting the audiocontrol matrix but i am still undecided with my Xover/EQ unit as of yet... in fact talking with the guys have made me look at a new HU with better tweaking abilities... I may have missed it but what kinda vehicle is it in ?

that's the same amp i am getting when i get my check next week Denim has one reserved for me... I am putting the tweeters on the front channels and the mids on the rear Crossing the mids at around 100-2khz and have the tweeter take the upper range of that... unless some of the more experienced audiophiles can direct me on the settings It's A/D/S 346cs 6-1/2 component set (tossing the passive and running active) with a 100.4 sundown
