this thread... i subscribed bc ive always wanted a real beefy midbass (although now i have a real good idea what im going to get) but anyway i wasn't expecting to see 10s and 12s in the suggestion box because of their sheer size and how the hell could they really be implemented in the front of a car is beyond me... but im still reading with open ears trying to soak up as much as i can about the issue

I'm not sure if I can agree with this statement. Music, I agree 100% that 2 channels are better as would a majority of others. I think I like 5.1 more for video games more than movies though. 5.1 is heaven for just those reasons... also actual 5.1 music is pretty good but selection is very limited

but think of 5 really good channels :runlaugh:

Do it at home where you can enjoy it...of course for the money you'd have to spend there are tons of options then. actually im not home long enough to really enjoy it... my HT setup is really ghetto but it works until i actually use it more and decide to trash it. But luckily theres already dvd-audio receivers for HT so i can finally hear my growing collection

second skin is really an awesome product. ive loved using it on my car and recommend it for anyone interested in good sound... lol just hope you install it faster then me but what all did u get just damp?

damn thats crazy... lol ive only herd of that kind of stuff for spl walls. I was pretty amazed at the box i had built for my XXX's with the double baffle. I may have just missed it but i havent noticed any flex (then again i havent played them full volume)

any idea if this test will or have been replicated on the 3000d?
