ya i havent messed with TA at all and all the eq ive done is basic level matching id guess it could be called (nothing crazy) tweeters are rockford FNX 25mm silk in the sail panels in the door midrange is cdt es-07 and midbass is hertz hv-200 in a door pod

i just went to my first sq event this weekend and the advice i was given by the judge is to try and widen the soundstage a bit along with getting the image a little higher. i sorta noticed this before but not really so brushed it off but after listening again post judging i could definitely see where he's coming from. he said its slightly above the a pillars and slightly wider then the car but needs just a little more. I listened to hotel cali again along with some michael jackson on the way home and noticed this 100%. any advice on how i would do that? Pointing my drivers side tweeter up helped a lil bit on some songs but I'm pretty sure I'm lacking some midrange up higher so i may swap tweeters with some larger 2" to get a bit more midrange in the a pillar(which should help the height a bit) but I'm just playing with that idea right now (im still in love with my tweeters so) width i have no idea.

i remember them sounding pretty good and my friend in the truck said they played "pretty low" but i'm very picky with my tweeter and sadly never really payed much attention

i have herd them before but i haven't really critiqued them... a few guys have them locally since we are a cdt dealer and i haven't herd any complaints. a few guys with walls have them, one guy with a 3way (es02, es03,es07), an employee had them in his truck with tangband bamboo 3s im actually thinking about possibly getting them for my car but i don't know

most are. sundown and a few other select companies utalize the remote gain knob... in theory it sounds sorta stupid to be able to adjust your gain on the fly but if its a reduction knob like on the sundown it makes perfect sense and honestly could save alot of subs if utilized over a bass boost knob, it just only works as a reduction techinque which shouldn't be an issue in most cases since you would adjust your settings with the "bass boost knob" turned up

lol its all good. once you have your gain set plug the knob in with it all the way up and you shouldnt notice a change. The knob isnt ment for you to get louder but for you to be able to turn it down

sometimes tracking nubmers arent updated. Ive seen this with both USPS and UPS... why i dont know but every so often (say 1% the tracking number doesn't update for me) i wouldnt worry too much
