  1. Ok, I contacted you guys via Facebook to ask some questions about how the Nightshade V1's, and I have yet more questions, but I figured they would be best suited for the forums to inform other people with similar questions. First off.. Do you sell a recone kit for the NSV1's and if so, what's the price? Secondly, I know you said 2.0 Cubed is about right (NOT PORTED) for the NSV1, but I'm sick of seeing the same square/Rectangle boxes, with the same slot-ports. Any ideas on a cool looking (and still functional) box? All would be done with 3/4 MDF, and if so, what programs do you recommend for designing boxes? Thanks SD, you guys have fulfilled my Audiophile needs! I don't have a want nor need for another sub! I'm not much for competing, this is primarily personal pleasure. With that said, I must reiterate how pleased I am with the SDANSV1. Can't wait to see what 'Codename: Monster' is gonna turn out like! Keep up the good work Gents, You have a strong fanbase! Also.... No homo for the following, but would any of you object to me getting the logo inked on me?
  2. Wow... I'm still impressed by my nightshade V1... But the SA series are pretty awesome! Theres a guy on craigslist selling like 6 of them. 155 a piece. If I didn't have a nightshade, I would probably have gotten 3 of them, but I was looking for boom without taking up a lot of space. Plus the looks I get from just ONE NSV1 is pretty amazing.
  3. Wow, holy amazing responses! @ Cablguy1 I live up in Corinth, about 45 minutes north of Tupelo. Unfortunately... There is very few and far in between as far as car audio selection. It's either Memphis or nothing around here. I had a set of Cadence CVLW's I was really fond of for street gear. I'm so impressed with the Nightshade I will probably wind up getting the V2's, they are 2kRMS correct? Is there a recommended amp to push it properly? The guy I got it from had a Sundown 2000.1 (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) 2k 1ch.
  4. Hey all, I purchased a Sundown Audio Nightshade V1 12 yesterday, and I can only say one word: Wow... I have it hooked to a Rockford Fosgate P8004 amp currently because that's all I could find on the fly, and it 'tickles' the driver. I'm incredibly impressed by the sub, and being that I only paid 150 for it, in good aesthetic condition, and perfect functioning condition, I couldn't be happier. I need an amp to actually push it, but right now I'm trying to test fit the setup in my Daily driver and see how it performs in it, before it goes in my show car. I'll post pictures if anyone is interested in seeing what a 2nd Gen Escort has potential to look like. The box (2.2Cu Ft) is perfect for the sub, and in due time, I'll get around to building a floor bracing for the sub and box because it's a bit front-heavy due to the inverted mounting. The amp will eventually be upgraded to the 2kW Sundown, as well as adding a battery, cap, and the entire kit and kaboodle. Just wanted to introduce myself, and brag a bit on the older Sundown Nightshades. Howdy! Those wheels are long gone, and it sat for about 6 months without the 18's, and with the entire interior pretty much stripped down to bare nothing. Found a set of Enkei RSF-2's without tires for 100 bucks, so I got them to go on it. I have in the works: SA Nightshade will PROBABLY go in the Deathscort, if not, I'll throw my True Bass Solutions 8" in it, with a modest 300W setup since my wife will primarily driving it unless we take it to shows after it gets painted. Enkei RSF-2's and the nightshade -
