  1. What is a good team name for a combination of Sundown Audio and FI Audio? Like i want both names to make a combination name. We were thinking like FI-Down lol soundsv retarded when i typed it though or something like Team Flex. Or Team Updown. Lol just let me know what you guys are thinking. And not literally team as in we really make our own shit. but more like just some friends just want to be called something ya know?
  2. can one 15" nightshade handle that 2500
  3. I want the Sundown Audio SA-15. Two of them. And a SAZ-2500D. One of it. Will I overpower the subs? I know, i know, the specs say 600rms but I want to hear some experienced people tell me how hard they bang and if they can handle more. Just looking for some nice project ideas.
  4. probably 2500 watts rms. i think that would be enough, with the right enclosure and spot in the car, i think its possible. now that i think about it i probably wouldnt buy 4 but instead 2.
  5. Lol yeah if you put your face to the port hole
  6. lol i'm asking because i want to start a new project. I'm thinking a pair of 15s or 4 12's powered by some sundown audio in the trunk facing front and no back seats. ported. im thinkin 33 hz.
  7. You think its worth it to buy 4 of them? or am i gonna get what i paid for? im expecting to do hair tricks
  8. I think you should get a Sundown Audio amplifer for your subs. Reallyyy good amps. They will last. but as for subs, my friend has a pair of 10" Kicker CVT shallow mounts in his truck and he loves them. Still has them today and they knock. and i agree that you should have a custom box because these factory boxes aren't specific enough. Every car is different. especially yours Good luck though! Make sure you keep the forum updated on your build. I'm interested in how this will work out.
  9. Looks good. Like the mirror flex!
  10. What's your take on tuning for hair tricks for dual ported 15's or 12's. Lower or higher? 20hz? 40hz?
  11. Thanks Mark lol. Appreciate it.
  12. I say he should sell those for $50. couldn't be that hard to make, and everyone would buy it at $50.
  13. So I'm just crusin' through youtube and decided to look at some Skar Audio. Sounds pretty good but I want to hear from people with experience. How's the sub? Hit hard? quality or power? both? And whats the true RMS rating for that mofo. i see videos that push more then the manufacturer 600 watts. I'm interested because this subwoofer is pretty cheap, but seems to be pretty good. I might buy four if i get the reviews i want to hear. thanks!
  14. Looking forward to the zcons!!!!
  15. @BanginGMC i like ya build man. good setup. well all i can say is we will findout what is possible with a ssa audio 15" xcon and a sundown audio 1500w amp. what do you guys recommend for an enclosure? at what hertz?
  16. I only wanna run at most 2000watts. i know i know, limiting myself can be bad, but im on a budget too. two sa 12's? if im not mistaken, their rms is aroun 300-400? running 3000 is crazy because even if they are under rated, they cant be thatttt under rated. I like the xcons lol. and i might even wait to buy their new zcons. one 15" zcon is plenty for my hairtrick in a chevy cobalt 2 door
  17. oooh. i'm excited about these zcons
  18. Danggg. How can i get a hold of the ones in circulations?
  19. Lol I want to know if the SSA ZCons are still for sale? What are their specs by the way. Thanks!
  20. Now when you were doing the vid, were the seats down? Seats down cooool. you should try a hair trick. If you can, then i'm definitely buying a pair of xcons!
  21. Now when you were doing the vid, were the seats down?
  22. makes sense, so when what fuse do you reccomend? on the wire amperage limit? or the alts? ahhh yes it does, i got lil project to do today then thanks well... typically user is suppose to fuse according to wire's rated ampacity... However, using a smaller fuse will just make things safer. EXample- lets say user uses 4awg wire. That may be able to handle 150A BUT since the factory wiring is still connected, fuse size doesn't need to be that big if you do not want it too.... If running 100A stock alt, typically fuse size can be around 100-120A factory. User could run 2nd run and fuse anywhere between 60-150A if running 4awg. Smaller the fuse, quicker the pop as long as it doesn't pop all the time because it's too small, know what i mean? Thanks! that all makes sense. I have a stock alt. and if i grabbed a 250-300 fuse, that probably wouldnt be right.. better getting the 100A fuse
