  1. I have a p880prs that I would sell. PM me if you're interested.
  2. with all that? hell naw unless you wanna get one from japan. I know pioneer carrozzeria , kenwood japan, and alpine would have all them features but not for no $450. More like $2000 or more. Your not gonna find anything like that in america cause majority of us are too cheap. Yeah, I'm looking at the DEX-P99RS. It does everything I need audio wise. Then I might put a single din flip out vid/nav system that links to the P99RS. Does anyone have a better idea for 3-way or even 4-way active video/nav HU? Price for me is less of an issue. I can't help the OP, but if your budget isn't extremely limited (which I would guess it isn't considering you are looking at a $1300 deck + a flip out) I'd suggest buying any flip-out that has the multimedia features and auxilliary inputs that you want, then connect it to JBL MS-8 and let the MS-8 handle all of the audio processing. Thanks for the tip. I'd never heard of the MS-8. I'll take a look at it.

Unfortunately for you, Julian, I don't think anything exists for what you're looking for at that price range.
  4. I'm going to take a guess that there isn't anything...
  5. I was just about to start the same thread! I've been out of the loop lately. What's out there for double din touch screen HUs with 3-way active outputs? Oh yeah, I'd also go for the blow job function.
  6. It's not fake. I bought it. It hits real hard and digs deep. Definitely worth the 145 G.
  7. That is average speed over the cycle. I think what he is curious about is instantaneous velocity which is a maximum when displacement is 0 and can be solved taking the derivative of the displacement function. @30Hz s(t)=2"sin(at) displacement=0:t=0 ax=0 max displacement: at=pi/2 t=(1/120)s a=pi*60/s, ds/dt=v(t)=2"cos(at)*a vmax=2"*pi*60/s~=377"/s or 21.4mph ... I think...
  8. Nuff said I would be curious to see the write-up about motor design and flux densities etc. I'll try to find it.
  9. Yes, I was quite pleased with it before which is why I have already picked up another 880 to replace the stolen one. I'm just torn between these two tweets. I think I'll try the LPG as they are cheaper for me and it's always nice to try something new and gain experience. This way I'll stand out too
  10. I was using SEAS Prestige 27TFFNC/G (H1396) tweets for a while and really liked them. They got stolen and my plan was to either buy new ones or go with the LPGs. Any opinions? They are currently paired with a Dayton RS125-8 5" but the the daytons don't output enough for me. I threw them in my doors because they were all that I could fit. I'll likely switch them out for a pair of my MLI65s or something. Deck is a Pioneer DEH-P880PRS running active. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  11. Someone knows something I don't (on both accounts). Unless you are referring to audiopulse.
  12. I are want one.
  13. Are you sure it is a CDX and not an SDX? What is a CDX? Either way, that is a gorgeous enclosure. Good work!
  14. mpimm replied to dbjunior's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
"The cake is a lie" I'm hoping for subwoofers anyway.
  15. Some good deals there Jacob!
  16. Beefy little driver. I'll have to try one out.
  17. I am excited. Too much going on!!!
  18. I can't wait to see how this goes.
  19. What program do you use to model? Is that PRO/E? The amp looks great. I love my 1000D, can't wait to see what you come up with next!
  20. Yea, that seems like the best use of your power. That is, if there are eight 4 ohm MJs floating around.
  21. Good man for doing some testing.
  22. Thanks for the results! I'm impressed by the SPL12.
  23. I just sat here for 10 minutes thinking of things that I disagree with but I don't care to argue about what has been said. I don't see this going anywhere. I would just like to say that - with regard to the initial topic - in my personal experience, I have had no issues building enclosures without screws. I would encourage you to give the nailer a try and if it doesn't work for you, go back to what you know works
  24. Completely agree with audio-neon. I have probably built about 20 boxes using just glue. I dado all the pieces and then clamp them together. I have dropped my boxes 16 feet on to ice and couldn't get them to break. I have yet to have one fail. Screws, brads, clamps... anything will do as long as the wood is held properly during the gluing process. If your wood is flat and you don't have 20 clamps, brads will make quick work of things.
  25. I haven't heard the ICON or Mag myself, but I haven't heard anything bad about either. I imagine both sound great. I do have experience with the SDX15 though. Mine is running sealed off of a SAE-1000D and I'm very happy with it. I wouldn't suggest running 2 though. Running 1 gives you the 1 ohm load that you want and, in my experience, the SDX15 is capable of taking even more than the 1000W I am giving it.
