  1. I'm back, i just spent 2 weeks working 105+ hours.
  2. Just a wild guess here but it sounds like the amp isn't shutting off completely and therefore it is most likely going into protect for low volatge/current. Does your relay just shut off the power to the remote wire, or to the power wire as well. It should only shut off power to the remote wire, i'm not an amp designer by any means but I did have an issue last year where my battery terminal popped off and shutdown a pair of saz-1500d's (just the power wire, the deck and car was attached to the second post on the battery.) And the amps shutdown, but when I reconnected the batt. terminal they were both in protect. I had to completely shut them down and wait a minute for them to get them to come out of protect. Also you mentioned that you are using two ground points, once again I'm no expert but im sure someone else could chime in here. Cant multiple ground points cause a looping of current effect. Also can you do me a favor if you have a digital multi meter and measure the impedance of your grounds and post that as well.
  3. Likewise, the only downside from it is when Dave habitually changes my sig and profile info every couple weeks or so, I don't know about it until someone tells me I used to get all kinds of crap at work from the nurses about the bouncing tits.
  4. slow night in the hop
  5. I've allready looked into that, the creator of the skin wants $350 to rebuild it in different colors. We'll have to think about it. I can just continue to use graphite, no biggie

I think it was funny. Lets just simmer down, no fighting.
  7. What head unit do you have (or atleast what pre-out voltage is it) Your gain should never ever be above 3/4 with an aftermarket deck. Your Sub Sonic Filter (SSF) should be set just below your box's tuning and your LPF around 60-70 hz.
  8. Mark, can you change the colors but keep the skin? Like a stone 23 for us night-dwellers
  9. I would check out jegs.com I don't know what shipping costs are to Hawaii though.

  11. It's not a problem at all. I'll probably use the weekend to finish building my router table ( just need to add the tracks for the guide and the holes for the router, and a sealent of some sort, b/c it likes to rain when I do wood-work.
  12. what part of NY. If upstate let me know. I'll be down on lawn guy land ( Long Island) for the weekend. If u find urself down near the city tom is there. J It wouldn't be practical to drive down there unless I had a place to spend the night, I don't mind back-yard camping. Seeing as I have the weekend off and it would cost me ~50 dollars in gas. I might be able to swing it.
  13. I just wanna say that I have a ton more respect for the care that Fed-ex takes with package handling... We moved over 4k packages in 3 hours. All of the while, I did not see one package that came into our hub that was put on a pallet for delivery that was damaged in our hub. Oh and it is such a workout, packages weigh from 1-99 lbs in our hub, a typical package gets lifted 3 times, thats approximately 1000 reps for every single unloader. Talk about a cardio/toning workout.

  15. ssshhhh!
  16. time for my nap, i'm getting old.
  17. Jealous. The retail for all of the parts of my 09 Spl vehicle will be just shy of 10grand.

  19. very carefully Was this directed at me? Basically you send out emails, realizing that it is still going to take a substantial financial contribution to complete your goal. You have to market yourself and prove to the company that their investment in you is worth while. For example, for the 2009 dB drag season, my goal is to make it to world finals. I will have my car at every major event within a 300 mile radius of where I live including multiple 3x events. I should be able to make it on dBtv at carlisle, and I'm trying to get this all done and bring my ss1-2 build down to SBN next season. Once you have your foot in the door at one company, it gets easier. And team SSA and Audio Obsessions are shops I'm representing, not that I'm getting anything other than that from them.
