  1. Sundown amplifiers have been reviewed against audison and fared very well. They are engineered in the US, built by one of the best build shops in Korea. I would choose sundown over any other company from a pure customer service/ and quality for you dollar perspective.
  2. Pretty much; vitals, put together charts and copy over medex's, help pt.s ambulate, eat etc... basically a jack of all trades minus the meds.
  3. Quite a few of us regulars were on vacation, and when I got home on Monday I didn't really glance at anything that wasn't in the top 5 new post section.
  4. Not a nurse, a patient care technician for now. I will be pursuing a different career path most likely Acoustical Engineering but nursing is a nice fall back.
  5. You could see the pole and everything on my 175$ tc sounds sub too. It's ok, but nothing extra special. Another company that has a ton of humor with their manuals is audiocontrol.
  6. The recone kit includes the soft parts Cost is whatever Nick says it is (idk as I don't work for Fi) The cost for Fi to do it is the cost of the kit plus shipping.
  7. Yes sir... about to do my 4 am vital rounds. And SSA is one of the very few forums that slips through our filters.. but mr. benjamin had nothing to do with that.
  8. Happy Birthday Man... Keep up the great work with SSA and enjoy being 31
  9. I wish I was asleep. I'm at work (its 3:23 am here) and have over 3 hours left.
  10. iirc the baskets only weigh like 26 lbs each... I think the motors would most definitely have to be shipped though.
  11. whoops. I meant line arrays, I was just reading a post about line drivers... I'll fix it if I can.

Talk to me about the theory behind them. Designs etc... Would the mach 5 mli's be a good driver to use for a line array project. I'm curious and my room is rather short but lets say I have 6 feet to work with unless I built them for my living room. Which because of the layout would have to be a 2.1 system.
  13. Yea I would just ship the magnets to yourself. I'm sure the baskets will be luggage (and national security) friendly.
  14. I still think that 4 1500ds at .5 ohms will be louder than 2 3000ds at 1 ohm each... I have run strapped 1500d's at 1 ohm final load before (.5 ohms per amp) on a STOCK electrical system and Jacob's amps are solid.
  15. Can they fit in a suitcase?. At least with shipping you don't have to worry about the airport detaining the motors thinking that they contain uranium, lol. I doubt an airline would let you place them in your luggage. A) they weigh too much and B) national security would probably think they are some sort of explosive.
  16. I am gonna try and figure out if my reciever is capable of doing a sub-out to an amp... If so I might be trying to build a huge enclosure for some mach 5 ixl's... I'm thinking a pair of 18"s or 4 15"s and like 20 cubic feet ported.
  17. Honestly... 3 12" Fi Q's and a 3000d would probably be all of the lows a man could ask for. The Q has the most linear x-max and is the most efficient of the three choices presented.
  18. my chocolate lasts ~ 6 hours of text messaging and short intermittent talk time. It sucks.

  21. birch is much nicer to your tools. MDF eats saw blades.
  22. There's no place like home.
  23. i wish I was home
  24. I have yet to come across any mainstream rap that had frequencies in the sub 30hz range. I almost find it comical that so many people find 30 hz to be low. Have you ever heard some classical with pipe organs.
