  1. I might run 2 10" audioque hd3's or two bl 10"s.... Haven't decided, sooo many good choices.
  2. thats the sound it makes on mine. it only does it on bass above tuning. probably like 60hz or higher. my box is tuned to 31 hz. and its not every song, its not on sine waves either. theres a TI song that it does it on. it has some low bass that slams hard so i like to turn my sound up. but then theres this lil high freq punchy bass on top of the low bass and it makes my sub pop when i play it loud. i used to have my HU Xover set to 63 and my amp set to about 60. i recently changed them both to 50 hz, which is pretty good for rap but i listen to alot of rock too and 80hz sounds better on rock. so is it the box or the xovers? this also happened with my XXX 18. sorry im not tryin to jack ur thread, but this has been bothering me for a while now. Are you sure it's not an issue with your amp??? I have gotten a popping sound out of my d1's but i know that i was over-exerting them.
  3. If you set your gains properly and don't get too happy with the Q, For reference, I am running two Diamond D1's on a saz-1500d @ 1 ohm, and they haven't failed me yet. (D1's are rated 200 watts rms, 400 max, and i am giving each of them 900 rms).
  4. or you could always go with the bl. Are you looking for spl, sq, or LSQ.

Has he even heard either of those subs??? Just sit him down in your passenger seat and make his ears bleed.
  6. and the Q would easily handle 1200 clean watts.
  7. Bl 10"s would work, albeit costliest way, silverbane, what options are you getting?
  8. Painting an amp messes with its thermal dissipation, (unless you are audison and spend countless dollars on r&d on your paint), the only real way to do it is anodizing.
  9. Denim, the install, will be shown in the form of a build log, right now its just sitting in the place of my DD m1, on the side of the box, and it is snowing outside, so i will let the amp stay away from the snow. I am waiting on about 140sq feet of damplifer and all of my power wire from knukonceptz. As for an spl woofer I am looking at a couple of different choices. American Bass vfl 12" dual 2 ohm Fi BTl 12" dual 2 2 Fi Bl 10" Dual 1 T3 Audio TSNS 2) DD 3510's dual 1
  10. If you are trying to get a final impedance of two ohms for the amp than you want two d2 subs. wire the subs in parallel and than in series to each other. (if i remember correctly parallel subtracts and series adds.
  11. Come on Jacob, you know i am a traitor to the sq world. But for Street A i need either a single 12", two 10" or three 8" woofers, which could handle two saz-1500d's. Silverbane, i used to compete in sq, the last two years in Iasca, but this car is strictly spl right now.
  12. did you ever get a dmm to set your gains on the seperate amps??
  13. audio-neon replied to atsaubrey's topic in General Fi
depends on what i get, I am working out pricing with them now, as i will be getting quite a few different things done, and seeing if they will give me a break b/c i hang out with the owners at a local car club. But when i get quotes i will let you know, normally from the place i go to its like 30 dollars for a standard size logo, but i get some pretty good deals, and have done a lot of business with them.
  14. godsmack, quite possibly, i would call it a good match though.
  15. You got a pair of BL's coming dont you? Nope, although that would probably work, I haven't decided on the woofer I am going to use yet. I will decide in the next day or so.
  16. If you are looking for the ultimate in sq, than you needed a bigger midbass, the space 6.5 is only like 1.25 inches deep, so that takes care of your depth issues, what is your budget etc... Are you doing kick panels? Are you running an eq? what are you doing for time alignment? there are soo many things to consider when doing sq. if i were you i would go to imagedynamics.org and look at the team gallery for some amazing sq cars and ideas.

I just went to my local graphics shop and they make all of my logo's for me, in whatever color and size i need them in, and I am even working with them on getting a Team Sundown Logo for this season *with Sundowns approval of course*
  18. I was really impressed with your packaging, i have it sitting on my room on a shelf incase i ever do break your indestructible product. Anyways put the saz-1500d in the car today powering two dual 4 (wired down to 1ohm) voice coil Diamond D1 10" woofers, and after 4 seconds of a 30-55 hz warble, i could smell the vc glue, so i have been taking it easy on them. Waiting for my spl sub (two weeks, or four depending on order of purchases).
  19. two sundown sae-1000d's
  20. You my friend are looking for the mid-bass from the Hertz, space k8l component set. The only downfall is its in 4 ohm, but it can take 200 watts.
  21. looks like the karma line of knukonceptz interconnects, just got mine today.
  22. I woke up, and sitting in my dining room ( my little brother brought my delivery in) was 2 boxes. And the other box was the first half of my wiring order.
  23. he went from 2 saz-1500d's to 2 saz-3000d's i believe
