Are you looking for total output??? I would go with the 2 12" Q's ported. What amp are you running? and how much room do you have to work with?
  3. how about a set of Hertz space components which run like 600 for the 6.5" and 650 for the 8". Or you could always go with some ID cd1pro compression horns and dynaudio or dls mid-bass.
  4. I won't pay a grand, but buy one and come some where so I can hear it. If i ever get one, i'll let you hear it.
  5. I can't wait for tomorrow around 6pm. I will see my first 1500d, sorry Diamond D1's you have been faithful but you will die!!!
  6. i'm sure if he pm'ed flako about us amps flako could get him a good deal on an amp for the btl.

that makes a lot more sense, i'm sorry if i came off as a dick.
  8. I wanna be a jeeper too...
  9. how much power^^^ apparently you read my mind and posted before i finished my post, sounds like a good number for a sq sub.
  10. The only sub i would ever pay over a grand for is the 22" hertz free air sq sub. How is that for randomness!
  11. i can't wait til this Fi boner is done with. It was the same as RE one a while back. Have you ever heard an Fi sub, or even taken the time out of your life to even consider the fact that a new companies product might actually be worth while. Not that I am defending Fi, but hell i have listened to countless systems, and I dont really care who makes the products, but how they perform.
  12. looks like it will be loud, can't wait for vids.
  13. Sundown Saz-1500d is six hundred, or you can pre-order two of the SAE-1000d's and that will give you 2kw for 450. There is also the DD m2
  14. Here is a 4th gen camaro vs 05 mustang gt http://youtube.com/watch?v=Fye2lHg_If0&amp...ted&search= 4th gen slightly modded vs 07 with juice:
  15. Here is some of the marketing on the fourth gen camaro: http://youtube.com/watch?v=xODy89tomwg
  16. it's too bad you couldn't get a wrangler tire mount (for the hatch) and put the spare there. That is one of the things i love about the liberty, no tire to worry about in the storage area.
  17. Street A in db drag is engine off, battery charged at 14.0 volts, 30 seconds to make your score. Batt can't be larger than 800 cubic inches.
  18. Explains your comments in the Challenger thread Which one of my comments??? the one about Chrysler working on cheapenning up the challenger to make it more competitive with the Mustang??? I got that straight from my dad who has worked for Chrysler for 30 some odd years. Or the one about a 275 hp neon = an ls1 camaro in straight line acceleration, because i have been there and done that. Hopefully by next year i will be sitting in the 600's in a sohc 2.0 liter neon.
  19. Murray, you can't deny that the Ls1 camaro's were badass, especially considering that they dyno'd higher than they were rated, and should have had the same hp/tq rating as the corvette. I would have to say that f-body mustangs even to this day are a force to be reckoned with. The 3rd gen camaro (the tpi models) were an absolute pain to get more hp out of. They did their rated hp, but that was it. The f-body's were faster, in a straight line, on a track etc... It is all about power to weight ratio. That is why it takes a 330 hp camaro to run in the low-low 13's, and a 275 hp neon to do the same. That is why miata's and lotus elise's can be fun with tiny engines. When push comes to shove, the mustang always has sold better, has had some better performance years, but the camaro has had its share of better performance years. The camaro is, and should be the working mans vette, while the mustang isn't playing little brother to any other ford car. Hell even a head cam mustang is a threat to a head cam camaro, maybe not the ls1's but we are not talking entire seconds slower.
  20. Last year i had a pair of Diamond D7 amps stolen, Diamond d9 components in custom kick panels, an eclipse cd8454 and a Image Dynamics IDmax 12 stolen out of my car, the day after i got it back from the audio shop, while i was at work. I was so pissed, i just sat there and cried. They ripped my dash apart (no screws just pull tabs), broke my rear window, keyed my car and slashed two of my tires. I was soo pissed. I was so glad that the owner of the shop basically paid for a new install for me, considering i had just spent close to 8 grand.
  21. i forgot all about the ihop thread wow, i must have gotten really retarded.

I have always used 1 5/8 inch coarse drywall screws, just make sure you don't tighten them soo much that you strip the wood apart. I will be looking into doing something different, but haven't found a product that will work as i wan it to.
  23. nothing wrong with cardboard and resin
  24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NJJJ2KCMoo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQsBSD2ULn4 Here are my two youtube videos, and i know the sub sounds like crap, the first video was done for easter, the second was to show me beating the piss out of my subs, which sounds soo bad b/c the dustcap started coming off of the sub and was vibrating against the sub.
  25. Street A in dB drag is one 12", two 10" or 3 8" woofers, and one amp (or two strapped mono blocks), one battery under-hood, car off, no walls, etc etc... Crx's rule street A, but i dont have the funds to buy a car right now, until i finish paying off my loans, so for next year i should have a crx.
