Fi Q 12 dead
Sounds like overexcursion of the driver causing mechanical failure. I run mine into the ground daily with a saz1500 @1ohm, and it handles it flawlessly

I still cant believe this whole week will be in the low 80s for being winter in January. Our seasonal average is high enough for this time of year, which is 12-15`F below that.- amp got discontinued. :(
that amp will be n/p for the bl- Fi 18" Q
I have plenty experience of them both in sealed and ported enclosures, but the ''Q'' and the ''bl'' are designed for different applications from each other- CES Fi Style
I understand what you are saying, theoretically it might work like that. But I would like a technical explination of why. I'll leave that one for Scott or Nick to speak of, as I relegate myself to hang back and watch- CES Fi Style
Well, they are optimized for the application, so you dont have to worry about sub-par performance. No pun intended lol- CES Fi Style
I doubt the 22 would get a sissy motor, this is Fi we're talking about- CES Fi Style

- PLEASE HELP
I would just run the sub as is. If a problem develops, then you can take nessessary steps to resolve it.- how does fi btl compare
Personally, I dont think you should jump for the btl.- amp got discontinued. :(
looks like you're stuck with a 1ohm nominal load for now, if you have a d2 - DB-R.com got a face lift..
