well let me rephrase a reconed 12" kove armegeddon Who reconed it? Like what company made the kit? forevrbumpn my good sir
  5. mb quart does close to rated. unless you have zero voltage drop then maybe you can see the numbers that they advertise.
  6. Lol dam it.
  7. i agree with the sa12's. owned one and it got loud and hit the lows nicely! i really wish i still had it. a fyi they are way under rated. seen people giving them 1200rms daily
  8. i would personally get some skars. they are some sexy ass subs and heard great things about them.
  9. x2 aq's arent a good choice for daily they like power and high tuning. and for competing i would recommend tuning higher. not going to get too loud that low This is completely ridiculous, DD and AQ are both very good daily woofers. And you defiantly don't have to tune high to be competitive. As long as the enclosure is correct. We talking about Aq. Yes DD are excellent daily drivers. But DD came out with a low end line Aq for a reason. They are meant for spl meaning stiffer spiders meaning higher fs meaning not going to get the lows as clean. DD has great sq and that's why they are expensive and costs more to tool compared to Aq.
  10. Yes higher frequencies the louder. But not too high. Have to find your cabins peak.

So that being said. If you want to be loud go bl. If you want more quality go q. Either one will sound great in the right box. If your budget is tight go ssd.
  12. I'm not sure if it is just know its been reconed by forevrbumpn with parts he had in his shop.
  13. It does it wouldn't turn one day because it got so hot. But other than that day no problems. Plus my windows tinted so ain't that bad.
  14. Well if the power wire grounded onto the amps case then your toast. Its fried. That happened to me on my d.a.t 4ch and i was pissed and destroyed it with a hammer lol. But I would try to find someone that repairs amps and get a quote. If too much then might as well just get a new one.

This might be true cuz good companies make their high end subs as efficient but does he need to spend that money.
  16. Um I would go with the sax. Assuming you have good electrical to back that power up. Deadening and seal that truck up its gonna get loud lol.

    Musically.. 1) Q 2) ssd 3) bl Output.. 1) BL 2) q 3) ssd correct me if im wrong
  20. User replied to Freshh's topic in Fi Products
the ssd is simply a daily budget sub. all three are rated at 1krms. but the bl can handle more as it was built more towards the spl side. the q is build more towards the ""SQL"" but does not lack too bad in output as they can get loud! and the ssd.. all around daily low hitting budget sub. but very well built subs. i was considering in buying a ssd 12 but just went with a custom sub came out cheaper lol

With more force comes more volume. All speakers/subs do is move air which converters to sound waves which is sound. The more air you move the more sound you create. One 15 hitting 150 takes more power than four 15s because there's more cone area. The single 15 has to work harder to produce that much air movement.
  23. wooow thats a beast right there any pics or vids of the inside?
  24. dont throw it away at least make a few bucks out of it. there are some rf worshipers out there that can fix it. but to the topic when you unhooked the amp was the power wire's inline fuse out? did the power wire touch the case and sparked?
