Welcome to the IHoP
I loved it up until that point. I am terrified of heights and I can not stand those damn chain rides to the top of a hill. Now, if you shoot me up and over, or start it at the top, it's all good. Hell, I even freak out climbing the open cased stairs to get up to the launch platform on some rides. X2

That's all I use is my Gmail. If they don't accept gmail as a legit mail service then they aren't the kind of company I would want to work for and probably would think Lotus Notes is the latest and greatest...

hmm that's a unique Idea. I introduced the gf to hot wings and now she loves them. Best one she ever said she had were just some wings over a open camp fire doused in Louisiana hot sauce.

So one day I will make a beast single Sundown powered SSA driver SPL setup for some vehicle. I want to have fun like I did with my Boss/L7 setup in my old chevy

Most the people I know who have developed a taste for that have also developed a taste for penis. I'd be careful with that stuff man.

Fun little "SQ" project I'm starting today
It should be versatile enough for 10s to 15s -- I could do 18s but I'd say those would be more IB friendly than box friendly. If it works out well I'll offer these up for sale. In home 18" IB... makes my heart flutter.

I don't know where I got the idea that I needed 20 awg wire. I just used it and don't want to differ from it and screw something up

Welcome to the IHoP
Or what about picking up 2 50 ft cat5e cords for 8 bucks? I think cat5e is 24 awg but this thing is only transferring data, which is what cat 5 is made for and the logger transfers about a 1Mb/min

I need to buy about 100 ft. of twisted 20 gauge wire (2 wires). Anyone got any ideas that I might be skipping in my head? I was hoping to get it from the place that I buy 120ohm resistors from as well

Adrian, that's awesome. I wish that would have worked for my HDD when I dropped it from 5 feet while it was transferring data.

What is y'alls opinion on gas grills? where is a good place to get one that wont tear up on you? Also, out of curiosity. If I wanted to sear steak but I don't trust my range to make enough eat (or I don't want a plume of smoke in my kitchen/house) could I just use a propane burner on a Cast Iron Skillet outside? said propane burner

If you have time and want the project then it's totally worth it. But almost every project is totally worth it right?

Anyone have experience building a "data bus"? We need to hook up the wiring so our data logger can read J1939 protocol. I was told all I have to do is apply the wire to 2 pins on the VCU then have a twisted wire with a 120 ohm resistor on each end then plug the wires into the proper terminals on the data collection side

I wouldn't trust the computer MPG until I thoroughly tested it. There are a lot of variables in that tank. A lot of it is where you were not driving, so I wouldn't hold the MPG figure you see to be completely accurate. However, you do have something wrong if the comp trips and they need to be responsible for it.

Got my car back yesterday and it runs like a champ. The problem was the ECTS (Engine Coolant Temp Sensor) was messed up even though it was something we had already replaced. Turns out the wiring harness was corroded which was something we missed. It caused the sensor to go bad again. $215 later it runs great. Hate to have payed that much but for a 1 day turn around I am happy. The tech told me that when the engine was hot the car thought the coolant temp was -56*F (yes negative) and it was dumping fuel to compensate and flooding the engine. The car also runs much smoother now.

Crap, forgot to mention the fuel filter was replaced too. Also should note that when the car is running it runs great. I'm taking it to autozone to see what codes pop up tomorrow can you hear the fuel pump priming before the hard start condition? Have you tried priming it multiple times before attempting to crank(just cycle the key a few time allowing the pump to run until you hear it click off). I haven't but I will. I think I can here it priming. whenever you turn on my car you always here a chime first, but I think under that chime i hear the pump priming.
