Welcome to the IHoP
kel-tech p3at or the new ruger lsp, same caliber and all but the same gun. both .380, both will fit in your pocket. i have the kel tech. can't limp wrist it, but otherwise a decent backup. under $300. if you are thinking walther, the new ppswould be my choice. can be had in 9mm or .40 s&w. alot of firepower in that slim ass frame. anything from kahr, if you have enough budget. but then again, the walther is close. any compact 1911. kimber aegis is a good one in 9mm, or any one in .45 acp/GAP though with your size, the pps in 9mm would be just about perfect. i've gotta run, time for class wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee So wierd that I was just about to ask the same question. Thinking of getting a concealled and want a good small reliable gun (that will stay in my truck). Or maybe I'll get the 357mag revolver for fun

Welcome to the IHoP
what for? After last semester's screw job by two professors my cumulative GPA fell below 2.0, putting me on probation. Basically, to keep from getting "acadmically suspended" (cumulative GPA below 2.0 for two consecutive semesters) from the College of Business, I had to have 3 B's 1 C miniumum. Though that is not quite the case, it seems. As long as I have "shown improvement" I probably will be allowed to stay in school. Apparently its an unwritten rule...god damned bastards.... <-- 2 C's already racked up, finals week isn't even half way through.... I need to lie down now wow. you should probably start trying because those grades suck

This pic was sent to me with the intention of making me NOT want to ride motorcycles.... Your going to have to do better than that- Bridging my 100.4
You have the capability with your amp just run them active. And I have a great idea.... you could turn your gains down on channels 1 and 2 so your not sending them 100W a piece... All your going to need to run active is an extra set or RCA's ( Really if all your processing is done at the Amp then you could invest in two splitters and it would be fine)- Welcome to the IHoP
Going to study and get breakfast before the nest stops serving it... lata- Welcome to the IHoP
Well the BIB's running off of 25W is damn near enough for volume and of course everyone wants the low end. so I thought, the maggies can handle up to 300W so I would assume they get louder then the current BIB's (yes I know assuming is bad lol) and why not stereo subs since everyone is so gah gah over sub notes. I'm trying to come up with an idea that can handle movies, satisfy the party itches and still be something thats a pleasure to listen too when I sit down to some Miles Davis, or whatever I may be listening to. Oh yeah, and the budget is not too big lol Different needs. I am concerned, really concerned that with 100w the Maggies won't cut it and that I will need a new amp. Shucks However, I wouldn't make the assumption that you are making, in particular if you designed some big arse things with those goals in mind. The Maggies will be great for the Miles, but perhaps the movies and party itches aren't there thing. They will be in the living room in our house that has no tv and just a lot of seating Its give and take. I would give to miles to take from movies and parties But I guess I should focus more on their goals and not mine lol. I still have the BIB's for listening either way- Welcome to the IHoP
Altec multicell horns. Best party-turned-audiophile speakers I've heard yet. Pair of 811 horns, B&C neo 15's, bi-amped... Links- Welcome to the IHoP
T0P^ Guess I should go study now.... Last exam at 2!- Welcome to the IHoP

I was going to suggest Lunar amps as well if you can find them- Welcome to the IHoP
Bed for the night. Final tomorrow afternoon- Welcome to the IHoP
Wish I could be living with a certain one at the moment.... Really hope I didn't fuck this latest one up- Welcome to the IHoP
Topgunzzz..... How loud do the maggies get? My bud really wants a setup at his house and it seems some maggies and stereo subs would be right up there alley... except for maybe the price for everything inclusive. I think they would just look sweet in there living room. Of course if M5 picks yours up I may be at a loss for finding some. He really asked for surround but after letting the BIB's jam tonight I think he would be easily fine with a 2.1/2.2 channel setup. I'm really fine without a sub and think a 6in BIB would be awesome in that room but I think i need something that can take some good power, which is generally not BIB's - Welcome to the IHoP
