thanks guys. i think I AM A chill on the reconing thing then. i gotta say though after all the abuse i am giving my subs, it is holding up well. i mean awesome.

its a pair of btl 15s fully loaded with 2 memphis 4kw. as far as sound goes, i like it. it sounds clean. just trying to gain a db here and there. lol. every tenth counts when you are in the lanes.

awesome. yeah scott is famous. i was talking to tuan from team toxic bass and tuan was saying scott is a genius.

after beating my subs for 8 months it appears my spiders got real soft. if i pust the cone its not as stiff as it used to be. so i was wondering. if i recone my subs, how much increase in output will i see. a rough estimate will do. thanks in advance.

1. 10 gauge for the subs 2. 0 gauge for the amp power 3. 4000wrms to each sub (total of 2 subs)

i first heard about fi from the forum called ecoustics. then i saw steve meade's vid and i had to have it.

man i didn't know reconing could be so much "fun". lol.

fi is the best and scott is a genius. i heard some rumors from a reliable source that scott is doing something awesome to the subs. can't say what though.

of course not. i have never smelled the sub when i am street beating. even when i play it loud. but when you are practically playing full volume for 30 seconds, you are gonna smell something after a few runs.. lol.

i have a pair of fully loaded btl 15s powered by 2 memphis 4kw's. i have entered many db drags and bass races with these sub. in bass race i am in the 149 class with 148.9 db. after 30 seconds of bassrace, i can smell the woofers a bit. then i let it cool and do another run and it smells bit agian. at every comp i am in the lanes 4-5 times for bassrace and 4-5 times burping. but never has the sub died on me. this thing is solid as a rock. scott you are the best. i just thought i'd share my feelings about the btl with everyone else.

unless you plan on competing, you don't need that much power. i can barely listen to my system with the volume up half way.

it really don't matter what people might say about fi. the product speaks for itself.

i don't know what your car peaks at but have you tried that song called "b**ch" by lil jon? the frequencies on that song are 45-48-51-53hz. it also has a constant bass line. you can also find out some frequencies on songs here. http://www.*****.com/forums/in...hp?topic=1753.0

that song "gimme that" by paul wall does hit hard but it the break inbetween bass is kinda long. but yeah i love bumping to that song when i am driving. that song hits nice and deep. i believe it is the new cd. also that song "bangin screw" on that same cd hits hard.

in db drag you have to close all windows and doors but not in bassrace. actually depends on the event. some judges will allow it while other judges won't. the ones i've been to they allow it. usually the 1x events.

close the passenger side window and open the driver side door a bit. also make sure you use a song without too long of a break in between bass hits.
