So I am selling my pair of SSD's with copper coils and getting ready to save up for my next project heres the kicker.. I want to do a single sub setup for the wow factor between a 12 or a 15 preferably a 12 but a 15 is cool... I want to out do my last setup in terms of loudness, ability to play low frequencies and etc... so currently I have a saz-1500d.... Any suggestions for a single sub setup... in advance..

SSD's and suspension
Cool thanks for the help just wanted to make sure because both subs are in sepearte chambers so I knew this was going to happen when I first bought them but just figured that eventually the suspension on the more newer sub would eventually soften up to be as soft as the older one. I just was concerned because it isn't like when you press them in you can barely tell its the exact opposite you can tell that one has a stiffer suspension and almost feels as if it may have more spiders than the other.

SSD's and suspension
Too worried about nothing?

on the ssd
Sound quality and the ability to put the subs in a smaller enclosure and still get that strong low end. Nothing about the power handling changes its still rated at 800 watts with both coils...

SSD's and suspension
A while back I posted a topic about one of my subs having a softer suspension than the other and I knew this would happen because one was bought like several weeks before the other but figured eventually they both should level out to have the same stiffness of suspension but that isn't the case. After doing some testing last night a couple of buddies of mines who happens to be a serious competitors bought it to my attention and said it may cause somethings such as cancellation or something then again it may be nothing but you never know. Again I have bought this up to FI and said it would be fine and eventually level out but I am worried that one of the subs may have a better suspension than the other and wonder if this may be a possibility?

Burping Power
Needless to say its because of that challenge that I even know anything about FI... and I was impressed with the scores the SSD did and the pricing which to me equaled a good darn reason to try out the product and I have been satisfied thus far.

Burping Power
Simply adding more power to the same driver is about one of the worst ways to get your score up. Of course that is the last option and me and a friend have been toying around with burping MY subs with 2wice its power rating to see what I can do on the meter... Of course this is after I redo my enclosure and tune higher so I can burp at a higher frequency which tends to be better for the subs... Put it to ya like this I do a 140.4 right now at 38hz with my 2 12" ssds with copper coils.... If I go any higher (frequency) currently with my enclosure the scores go down.... I jus hope I don't blow them but its jus been something I been thinking of down jus haven't made it a definite yet...

Burping Power
thats what im thinking and the power will be clean of course I wouldn't even think about burping it with that kind of power unless I was sure I had the electrical to do it... but I was thinking 2 times the rated power and the sub would be fine.... I need to get my spl scores up....

Burping Power
What can a SSD take on a burp which is normally 3 secs at most... I am looking to run a pair of Saz-1500d's strapped on my ssds and would like to know how many watts can they take on a burp.... I was thinking probably 1600 watts per sub but would like to know before hand..
