will check the fuses in a few minutes... the btl was d1 and the 2 ns's i am running is d2s.

when i was running my btl 15 off this same elec. i never got voltage issues this low(12.8 and under)... i just installed 2 ns 12s at 2 ohms strapped and i am getting the issue, gain at a quarter and volume at half... i have a ohio gen 180/225 ho alt sittin here and will be dropping it in... i also did NOT do a big 3 yet, but the factory wire is 2 runs of 8, will be upgrading to all 0guage soon. with all this accomplished should my voltage maintain a good number. i was also told that since i am running the power between 2 subs now that it maybe drawing more... is that true?

i'll post pics when i can... internet down at home should be up this weekend. how can i get the most out of these subs in what type of enclosure... i have as you know in about 4.25 cubes @ 35 hz... sould i go smaller or maybe a diff. type of box?

just put the shades in yesterday and i am totally satisfied with the products... the box is not carpeted yet and no vanity panels up yet... just is just a temp setup. future plans involve 3 ns's on 3 1500ds. i have my gain @ the 9:00 position and still breakin em in. they push so air which is great b/c my backseat does not fold down... they sound very good on music for my taste. they get low decently until i get a proper box built. A++++++ products here...

i can get pics of the amps and batts all set up in the trunk now... i have the ns's at home and will put up picks when completed...

may have to get that done in the next few weeks... box may need some bracing and a second baffle, that's about... everything else is done!!!

so by saying watch your excursion, pretty much just watch out for stress or over-working of the woofer right?

i know 1.5-2 cubes per is key... with subs i'll probaly see 4.4 cubes... would i be fine running a 1500 d on each until i get my other 2 nightshades, which will be very soon for some i can have now for the moment.

i have 2 1500ds and wanted to trade both for a 3000d... can this be done? awesome idea by the way. the most top notch customer service i have EVER dealt with, not just car audio but as a whole.

this will be my first time using nightshades but i have used the amps for a while now... i currently run 2 1500 on a BTL 15... the amps are very efficient on my stock 140 amp alt, thats why i getting two more and running the shades as well. the question is that if i get 5 dekas 1 upfront 4 back... how big of an alt to get to go with em... i will be running close to 1600 watts on highs with 8 selenium 8s and a few beyma or selenium tweets... also for my box... should i go all four back w/ port back or four foward w/ port shooting to the side...(really wanna 4th order done but...) what will be louder for a trunk car older gm model 70s-80s? if done right... 150s on music should be possible right?

i will be running 4 1500ds and 2 100.4s in my next project on 4 12 nightshades... powermaster now makes 350 amp alts and i was also gonna run 4 dekas out back and 1 up front... would i be fine?

is there anybody that you know that will be running the same set up as me... tried to find one and no luck

im in a simular predicament.... i plan on running 16 selenium 6s. which are 8 ohms trying to put at least 50 watts to each... trying to run least numbers of amps possible... if possible can i run the amps at two ohms. i plan on getting a 50.4 for the tweets. and at the most 2 100.4s

my sub floor where the amp is its MDF. im still trying to find ways to mount the amps diff but with the two 1500ds and batts and the box... its kinda cramped

I have my kenwood excelon 4 chan mounted in front of my sub and port... I think the vibration is the reason I had to get the digital processor replaced on the amp and kept giving strange errors on the display. we tried larger head screws and my next option is rubber washers to stop the amp from vibrating so much. or would it be smart just to forget about the amp and jump on the pre order for the sundown 100.4. has anybody ever heard of that problem before?
