Aww man, I just now read and saw your stuff. First off, really nice build. Second...I don't know what else to say. Great work, looks so clean. I'll be watching the rest of the progress.

Good efficient amp?
ya i measured and they are 2.4 per sub. I need to recone the third, but hoping it will be the same, so that will bring it up to a combined 0.8 ohm load...almost 1 ohm... 0.8 ohm seems a lot better than 0.66!

Good efficient amp?
Thanks dudes...that's what I'm saying! That's why a class D is what is needed, for less strain!! I seen an AQ2200D on ebay a little bit ago, but no more I'll have a .66 ohm load (three dual 4 ohm subs) so I need a .66 ohm stable amp, not easiest to find. I emailed Brandon and he said that the saz 2000D should be able to hang with such a low impedance, but I don't know for how long LOL... I don't compete, but I have three subs and I would like to run all three. I know there's no reason to run such low impedance in a daily driver, but damn! What can I do? I plan on getting a 200A alternator, and possibly a second battery. Maybe a FG enclosure so as to shave the total weight down a bit but that's another story. So! anyone think that the saz 2000D would be a good choice? -Matt

Please Be Aware People
Interesting...But what can I do about it though, just make sure my future children don't get vaccinated? If I start talking about this to other people (not all but most), they'll think I'm wacko!

Good efficient amp?
clip meter = gimmick maybe a topic for another thread tho. amp seems like a decent suggestion What amp? The crescendo? Anyone use the sundown saz 2000?

Good efficient amp?
ok thanks dudes! btw, I'm currently on a stock alternator, but I used to have a 180A. I know I need a better electrical system to support it. I just prefer less power taken from the alternator to make the same output. I was wondering what anyone thinks about an autotek sm1 1500? I understand that it's class AB and not as efficient as some D amps, but I'm thinking of getting one.

Good efficient amp?
I am in the market for an efficient amp to power 3 12" punch HX2s...Can anyone recommend a good/sturdy efficient amp for within $325? I need at least 1500wRMS. Thanks!

12" d2 icon specs
The Dcon is a cool sub, but I plan on mounting it reverse/inverted, and I like the Icon and Xcon motors way better.

Fatmat liquid body armor?
Hmmm so i shouldn't get this product. fair enough, thanks! What can you guys recommend for reducing wheel noise, road noise, engine noise? My theory was just to coat a few layers in selective areas. BWAHAHAHA. (sorry it's close to Halloween)

Fatmat liquid body armor?
ok thatnks julian, but all I'm gonna use it for will be the floor, do you think it will deaden road noise? It must!

Fatmat liquid body armor?
I'm looking at this for coating on my car's floor...anyone have anything they can tell me about it? it seems legit? I can get one gallon of it for $50 shipped that's why.

12" d2 icon specs
ok thanks denim. 98GMC, sorry for the vagueness, I'll explain a bit more I have seen the youtube vids of just a SINGLE DCON 10" and I was pretty impressed! By Loud with SQ, I mean it will rattle my teeth loose, but still be musical. I love the feeling of strong bass in my car but it's been a while. I used to have 2 Treo 12" SSI and they knocked pretty hard, but their excursion was a bit limited. I really like the way that the motors on Icon and Xcon look; they seem like they can get pretty loud. I just wanted to know how much more/less the three woofers compare to each other. Right now there is that SD sale going on, and I can buy two of their SA 12" for about $310...that's a great deal. OR, for about the same price, a single 12" Icon or for a little more, a single 12" Xcon. I suppose I can wait for the specs on the Icon then, I just hope it's not too long a wait!

I have a 1999 nissan maxima. thanks oh btw I'm looking to get LOUD for just one 12". I Also want to keep SQ.

What alternator current?
Hello, I am in the process of deciding what I should do. I used to have a 180A alternator and it went bad. I sent it back to get fixed, and they quoted me $170 to build it back to 180A, or basically to fix it. However, they said that for $100 more, they can rebuild it to 200A. (I took it apart just for fun when I sent it back to them, just for fun, and it looked like it was a completely stock alternator which I thought was weird, but then again, I don't know what, besides rectifier diodes, is used to make an OEM alternator a high output alternator. What I do know is that I must've paid close to $350 for it back in 2006.) Anyways, when my system will consist of, will be: two (2) PPI A300 for my frontstage three 12" 5000RMS woofs An Amp that can provide about 2000wRMS @ 14v that's 0.75ohm stable. That's pretty much 2600wRMS...do you think that a 180A alternator and Optima YT w/big3 is enough? I read somewhere the YT are not good batteries for car audio?

New Here Hello!
Thank you! The only pic I have is when I was experimenting with this funky FG enclosure that I made; I wanted two of them but only made one: This is what I'm runnin now lol:
