  1. Take a pencil ,eraser first, and push the dent out from through the pole vent.
  2. And I thought I got a good deal on mine.
  3. Sawzall! That's a easy fix lol. Not going to cut up the car, I actually had to disassemble the box to take it out though. lol I love it sealed. I'd like to see how this ends up.
  4. I'd imagine a couple machines and a bunch of tables and raw material waiting to be machined.
  5. IIRC the box is 35.75"W X 16"D X 11.5"T. It will fit with the sub facing toward the rear but then you run the chance of blocking the subs output off. The box went in through the trunk opening, the largest box I fit through the trunk opening was 32"w X 16"t X 16"d and I had to jump on it and muscle it in.
  6. 31.875 in^2 Thanks Bromo !He knows that better than me, for sure. He's the designer ! I would have never imagine a btl could play so low and be so powerful at the same time ! BTW Bromo, we feel we had to add some more braicing. So we added some where needed, and now the box is harder, stronger. My builder is adding the same kind of bracing to all his speakerboxes of his pro audio system, and he loves the change !!! Thanks for him !
  7. It will be a tight fit for 2 15" subs sealed in the GP. This is a picture of 1 15" Icon in a GP of the same body style. Box stretches from wheel well to wheel well. There is a group 31 battery behind it and the amp, and just enough room to throw golf clubs in between the box and the tail lights.
  8. I don't see a ported box for a 18" sub fitting in the trunk, A ported 15" would be pushing it also.
  9. You might be able to fit a box on the rear shelf placed up to the back seat for a single or dual 8. IIRC I saw a build like that somewhere.
  10. 31.875 in^2
  11. So all your looking for is a color display and an internal amp? Pick any of the 99% of the head units on the market that you like. No, not all head units have a built in amplifier. The most popular that comes to mind is the CD7200MKii.

  16. Yes, you can split the shapes in the box to separate shapes to figure internal volume, like I did. (Big volume = 10.625 * 31.125 * 12.5 = 4133.7890625 / 1728 = 2.39 ft^3) Where the sub is mounted. (Small volume = 3.375 * 14.3125 * 12.5 = 603.80859375 / 1728 = 0.349 ft^3) Area to the left of the port (2.39 + .349 = 2.739 ft^3 - .16 sub displacement = 2.579 ft^3 which gives you a tune of ~30hz) Added together minus sub displacement.
  17. Unless you have bracing I don't know about your taking to much volume out somewhere. Big volume = 10.625 * 31.125 * 12.5 = 4133.7890625 / 1728 = 2.39 ft^3 Small volume = 3.375 * 14.3125 * 12.5 = 603.80859375 / 1728 = 0.349 ft^3 2.39 + .349 = 2.739 ft^3 - .16 sub displacement = 2.579 ft^3 which gives you a tune of ~30hz
  18. Repost. http://www.soundsolu...__1#entry216285
  19. Looking good
  20. Dimensions are 28 x 14 x 14 Thats what I thought. While your gross volume is 2.4ft^3 as soon as you put the port, and driver in the volume and tunning changes. Your box will end up being 1.51ft^3 @ ~38hz
  21. Whats the depth of the box?
  22. Pretty stupid you don't even explain why. I'll do it for you. Reading > me. the site I went to ( http://www.maxxsonic...f_MAXXLINK.html ) said nothing about having to use pairs of amps so I assumed you could use an odd number, but apparently you must use pairs of amps with it. http://www.hifonics....s_Maxxlink.html You got me wrong. I was face palming myself cause I thought I was wrong and you could strap 3 amps with the MaxxLink. That should explain my other post as well. lol LOL, well we got to the bottom of it at least.
