Your going to be right at the minimum space requirements for a ported enclosure tuned to ~31-32Hz. Dimensions would help.

Some amps won't let you run below rated, it will go into protection right away. I've ran an MTX 801d at 1ohm (stable at 2) but it would go into thermal protection in a short amount of time. IMO it isn't worth it sell it and buy a amp designed to run at the load your looking to run.
