12" Fi SSD
If your looking for SQ I wouldn't consider the CV's, to me they sounded horrific. I tried them in a lot of different enclosures and only got them to sound decent with one of them in a ABC box, which took up a lot of space for one sub. To me they sounded like they had no depth almost like a hollow sound.

Welcome to the IHoP
Why? I'm just failing to see the point in it anymore. I got into a car accident about two weeks ago, so I pulled everything out of my car thinking it was going to be totaled. But they fixed it and dont really see the reason to put it back in. Probably will end up putting it back in when it gets warmer out, but until then who knows.

Welcome to the IHoP
Understandable, I am on the other end of it and am losing ambition for the hobby.

More then likely it is a main distribution hub in NC. They load up the truck going to a certain area then further sort the packages at the next hub some may go on further others may go out for delivery. So that is why it hasn't updated recently it's been on the truck the past couple days.

Box for 18" BL
That is about right. You should have some bracing in there also.

RE SX 12" Flared Port
That looks like a sick paint job. How long did it take you to prep it for paint and what did you do to prep it?

Full tilt?
If your talking about marking the amplifiers adjustment knobs incrementally, They really can't do it. Well they could but it wouldn't be accurate as the potentiometers used to adjust are not linear. Meaning if the range is marked 10Hz to 500Hz right in the middle wont always be equal to 225Hz(500-10=450Hz of usable adjustment), it could be 200Hz or 250Hz or something else.

What are you looking to get out of the setup?

Full tilt?
Phase refers to where the output signal is compared to what the input signal is. Like this. Just eyeballing it appears the blue line is 90* out of phase of the red line.

Hifonics 1606d
I have never seen a Hifonics push the power is says it will. EVER Duran is right, I could put any fusing on an amp, doesn't make it more or less powerful. ok time for some math. With PERFECT voltage, of 14.4 with NO dropping. at FULL power the amp will put out.... 2x70=140 140x14.4=2,016 PEAK With normal drop to 12.3 2x70=140 140x12.3=1,722 PEAK Keep in mind this is FULL tilt, 100% THD, and FULL clip. Do that with the AQ now.

Change enclosure?
Build a ported box. It is cheaper then buying new subs.
-
which is better?
In that case Sundown.
-
which is better?
The one that is better is the one that works for your application.

Could have made your own wood filler with the saw dust and wood glue. Will work perfectly fine for filling screw holes.
