  5. This is after 3 coats of laquer. Wetsanding will be next. I know you can't see it in the pictures well, but in person you can still see the woodgrain, which I think is desireable. Let me know what you guys think. CT
  6. Hmm, quite possibly. I can't promise a fully-detailed, step by step deal, but i can get pics and descriptions. We'll see how this turns out bud. We still may be able to set something up when it comes to trying them out. CT pics and descriptions are good. dad is looking at buying an air compressor. so i'll have acces to all the tools i need. 9. My cam batteries died, so I only got one shot of them today. I should have more pics in the next couple of days. I have a process I'm going to take to get them to really shine, right now this is just with 2 coats of paint. Read the post above this one also, if you get a chance. CT
  10. I knew about it. Cool little hole-in-the wall with all kinds of overstocks and such. I want to buy things from them. The little 8's look cool and so do the ribbon tweets. CT
  11. May I ask why? What set did you hear? CT
  12. Website should be finished within the next week guys, I look forward to it's launch. Thank you guys for all the interest in this thread. As time goes on I hope to expand the business. I figure it's a good time to explain how I want to get started here. Ok, now I understand that buying subwoofers can be a pretty easy process. A lot of people have them and like to write reviews, take pictures, talk about customers service and so on. With a review it gives people an idea of what they are getting into. With that said I'm going to need some people to review the speakers I build. I'm always willing to give my input, but an unbiased opinion is always better. Ok, so here's the deal. I'm going to be building a couple of different prototypes, and this current build is one of them. The next build will be a 3-way, I believe, utilizing a Dayton DA-175 midbass, Aura 2" Whisper, and Dayton ND20FB up top. I also have a set of Adire SF-7's I may swap the Daytons with, but currently I haven't gone much into the design phase of it. I will also build a higher end set using the Vifa XT large format tweeters, and either Peerless Exclusive mids, or Seas CA18RLY/RNX. I will demonstrate different build techniques and finishing styles on each set. Now I need some knowledgeable members that will write reviews. Basically I will ship out a set of speakers to a given member, let them audition them for 2 weeks or so, and all I ask is an in-depth review. If you are interested in participating please PM me, or email me here. Thank you so much CT
