  1. It's a Honda civic and the strut bolts are 10mm.
  2. After the first couple of posts I kind of realized that and apologize for my mistake.
  3. there aren't any bolts large enough to accommodate multiple runs of 1/0 in my trunk, only small grounding points for the rear tail lights, and i don't care to drill big holes in the floor of the trunk.
  4. Seeing how my car is a unibody and technically doesn't have a frame like a truck I really don't that have option.
  5. I have been debating on how to ground multiple runs of 1/0 for my upcoming install. So I figure weld some 5/16 bolts to a length of steel channel bar, then weld that to the body of the car. this would give multiple point fors grounding and I wouldn't have to rely on screwing ring terminals to the sheet metal and risking it coming loose.
  6. its rough plan for a combonation amp rack/battery rack
  7. Actually yeah ill post it up in a little bit
  8. I plan to build a floating amp rack in trunk of my car and was wondering what the best material to use for the construction. I was thinking 3/4" boxed tubing but I'm not a structural engineer or anything, so i would appreciate the input on the matter.
  9. Had my 4 channel amp sand blasted with sugar sand today, know i just need to decide on a new color. I'm leaning towards a blue to match the the gauge color of my 06 civic ex, but could could do it white and have LED tubes to high light it. Just not sure.
  10. the big 3 and the runs of 0 are a given, just wasn't sure if the battery situation was sufficient.
  11. I'm trying to figure out what electrical setup I need to support a 3000+ watt system. I'm thinking a DC power 270A H.O. Alternator, XS Power XP3000 battery as a secondary, as well as 1/0 through out , of course I could be off with this assumption.
  12. I need help with a design for a ported wall with interchangeable ports that will house 2 15" Fi BL's. The Dimensions i have to work with are 52"H x 17.5"D x 28.25"H, the frequencies would like be 32 and 45. If any one can help me out it would be much appreciated.
  13. Yes it'll be walled of At the b-pillars
  14. Well the subs are going into my 06 civic, it's gonna be walled off. Powered by a pair of strapped MTX TA81001 amps.
  15. I'm getting ready to build an enclosure with 2 BL 15's in my 06 Civic and was wanting to know what frequency would be best for both daily and competition.
  16. Any idea when it will be available for sale to the public.
  17. yeah and i bet every song on there smart phone is pirated as well
  18. I signed it earlier today on FB so does that still count.
  19. to bad i dont live in Houston anymore I would love to go but its a little bit of a drive for me since I moved
  20. when i first got the car it had crossed my mind.
  21. Yeah my first thought was for the ZCON's
  22. ok it will go in a 2006 civic coupe there is sufficient room for enclosure after i remove the back seat. electrical will be a 260A HO alt. and a sufficient battery bank for either. As for the amps for the 10 i will go with 3 SAZ2500D and the 12 will be 4 SAZ3500D.
