I had a Sedona s2000.1d and loved it. It was a monster of an amp with great woofer control and drove anything I put on it. Very hard. They don't care for .5 ohm but other than that for the price I will buy one again. Got a 149.7 db outlaw on 4 american bass TNT 12's on the music off the radio. Thats were I found out they dont like .5 ohm.

Exactly what Aaron said, That seems to be the alignment that explorers love. Was doing a 149.7 legal with mine with 4 American Bass TNT 12"s with about 1700 rms on them.

Awesome score. My first was a VERY long time ago and did a 140.1 burp 138.9 music so ya got my first beat. Keep up the good work. Higher scores will come with time and tuneing.

Well I ended up takeing the deal for the SS lil Wonder amp. Must say It's actually kinda impressive. Sounds fairly clean Has good control over the xl 15"s and they get loud. Not a bad lil amp.

The quart will be another that I will try. I might get the lil wonder anyway and put it on my PB XL15"s just to sell em then get Some better gear.

Thanks denim. I found great reveiws on the new rubi's but nothing on he lil wonders. Even if it does 800 rms @ 1 ohm it'll be a good beater amp. I really want to put my nine.2 back onmy components, I have it on my subs right now and it's not doing them any justice with 400 watts. plus my back up high amp in a lighting audio with alt noise and it's embarassing.

Are the New Lil wonders that Bad? My rims aren't in the best shape so it didn't seem like a bad deal. are the LW's overrated? the specs look pretty good. And it would be the right amount of power for My 15"s

It's looking like a toss up between the audiopipe and the rubicon. Rubi is a lil more money but does look solid and dosen't seem like such a power eater.

That is some Bad ass stuff man. And Im digginf the hell out of the box. Unique and loud!! loveit.

I've looked at the rubis ALOT and they have some outstanding reviews and some people saying they are junk. Don't know what to believe. But the worst I could do is try.

I was looking at the audioque and the audiopipe, Being a budjet build i'd like to keep my current draw to a minimum, The brz is soumding like one of my more solid choices. Is that MB quart very efficient? And I've been intersted in audioque for a while. Lots of mixed reviews but I'm sure most are from user error.

I know my Explorer Sport sounds louder with the windows up, And my 94 limited I use to run was louder on the lows sealed up. But my Focus was louder all the way around with the windows down. Just up to the acoustics of the vehilce I guess.

Whats up all. Just wanting to get some info Budjet amps. reccomendations, ones to stay away from. Looking to go 1k to 1500rms @ 1 ohm. Budget would be right around 200.00. All input is appreciated.

Thats what it's looking like for me this round. Time to pull out the old bag of tricks. I don't think the PB XL 15"s are too bad, I bought em cheap enough, Mainly just a glorified M-series 15. I will post pics in the build thread when I start building the box. Just for giggles I'm going to see how loud I can get on 1000 rms or less.

Yep uncle sam put the big old red white and blue shaft to me this year. So no new build anytime soon. Guess I'll have to use the Powerbass XL 15"s I have sitting in the closet unfortunatly they are huge air space hogs. Just need an amp. I've got my Elemental designs nine.2 running my borrowed 13ov.2s right now. It works but Not quite what I am used to or want. Just had to vent a little.

Those superstarts look awfully similar to my old deka 9a31s, If they are the same they are a very solid battery, Had 4 of them in my old explorer last year. never saw below 14.7 volts. Only downfall is I think they were 80 lbs each, awesome looking build tuned in for sure!

Wow this brings back some memories. My first set up was a Jensen 12" from sears with the blue surround, and A REAL Lanzar Opti drive 100, All in my blown up honda accord off the battery charger! I did get an Phoenix gold M100 after that And wish i could reach my head to kick myself in it for getting rid of it. Don't have any pics unfortunatly. First car I could drive was a 72 Mercedes 220D, I had 2 Pioneer IMPPs in the grand old q logic bandpass box! run off 2 Profile california 600's audiovox 2 channel on the highs. which I believe were sony 5 1/4s and realistic tweeters in the kick panel. I was big pimpin I tell ya. Or so I thought.

Found these on ebay because I was bored at work. They say the one for my explorer is a 250 amp and will do it @ 1200 rpm. for $170.00 free shipping. Anybody ever ran across/used them?
