Autorama Feb 12th in Sacramento! MECA is pleased to announce a show at one of the biggest car shows in the country. Feb 12th is the date and we'll be offering SQ, SQ2, Install, Park And Pound, SPL, RTA. Keep an eye out on the www.mecacaraudio.com website (events page) for final details.

Just to clarify. $10 gets you into the event. Each class you enter will be 1 toy and 5 cans/boxed food items. So, if you want to do MECA SPL and the Bacerace it will cost you $10, 2 toys, and 10 food items. If you want to do MECA Install, SQ, SPL, Drive By, SQ2, RTA and Bass Race and Db Drag it will cost you $10 and 8 toys and 40 food items. Make sense? (Im not too familiar with Db Drag and those events so...bear with me if I am not making sense on that side)

December 11th Audio Xperts Vacaville, CA MECA Charity event. $10 entry fee (unlimited entries) 1 toy and 5 canned/boxed food PER entry....I.E. ""SQL"" and Install = 2 toys/10cans...enter all classes (SQ/Install/DB/SPL/RTA/SQ2)= 6 toys/30 cans of food. This will benefit Toys for Totts and a local food bank.

Not much to look at with a stock set up. Pioneer 800PRS, ID XS69 comps, 2 10" IDQ, SD 1500D, SD 100.4. Thats it. :-) Obviously door and cabin treatments with Second Skin, with a lil "magic" worked in. lol

Congrats go to Luz Carter, Team Sundown Audio/Image Dynamics in the MECA SOUND QUALITY Stock class format. She went undefeated this year and pulled off State finals by a close 1/2 point. Sundown isn't just for the knuckle draggers anymore. lol

There has been a slight change in plans to what facilities we'll be able to use at the Roadhouse. I am requesting all competitors to arrive as early as possible. I would like all competitors on site by 10am and judging will start at 11am sharp! If you are late, you'll still be able to compete but the earlier the "easier" it is on us. :-)

Just a reminder, less then 2 weeks away. :-)

We have 3 NorCal judges for SPL one of which is Alpine. This is the State finals so we will be using a combination or both Norcal and Socal judges for this event.

I want to go to this one. Can we get a roll call? I've been reading the rules; but, I'm not sure where I would fit in with 3 8's and a sundown saz 1500, sax 100.4, 2 batt's. Fusing rule has me confused. Total noob in the lane. Very simple actually. Cone area plus fuse size=-class. Of course install has something to do with it, a wall wont be in the same class as say a truck car generally. Keep in mind, MECA "typically" is about doing the most with the least.....as in the smallest fuses to drop a class or two (compared to a daily driver) and trying to get them to hold thru 30seconds. Make sense?
