I wouldn't do that. I asked the same question and I was told that doing that would change the croosver points and you could either have the tweeters running to low or the mid runnin to high.

I've been searching for amps to power 2 Mags and a set of Viper 650.2 components. I was looking aat MTX but I want more power on the Mags. I want the amps to match if possible but they don't have to. I only want to run two amps and my budget is $750. Oh yeah the Mags will be ported tuned to 30hz. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat but my gut feeling is telling me to get the Magnum D2. More and more people are saying that they prefer the sound of the D2 over the XXX and W7 which is saying a lot because, for a while people would say that those were the best on the market and to see people prefer the D2 more is actually amazing to say the least. Just go with your gut feeling. Explain what type of music you like too so some people can get a better idea at what type of sound that you prefer.

I'm glad you started this thread because I have the same question but instead of 2 12 D2's I want to know for 2 15 D2's.

I wish I had two . What are you going to use to power them with.
