i was thinking 2000 on it and my box gets insanely low lol its about 20 inches tall and 16 wide 16 long I just loveee lowwwsss lol too bad you didn't decide to get a zcon during black friday, I saved 300 on my pair.

Hah that's like me, lazy and busy butttt i dont have anything in my new car, so that's some motivation. I want to cut some wood to make a box with front, back, top and bottom to see how big I can go with my dimensions. I've been so busy with college though. Hopefully i can get that done Wed!

Click the link in post #4. Ryan explains why prefabs are shit. To actually design I don't really know. I have used the Torres calc to get an idea and ask someone and give then all the info I got so it was easier for them. I know a lot of people use Google sketch up to create a 3D model of the box.

Not really a prefab. Go to an audio shop and have them build you one then. Take in a design.from someone on here so they don't f*ck you over.

It's really not that hard at all. Jus need a T square (only like $15) circular saw, some clamps, drill and some patience and you will be good to go. I'm going to be building a box soon. I can make a vid and take a bunch of pics for you if you'd like. I can show pretty much how to build the box. This will save you so much money and it's pretty fun. Also you will get better as you go.

I was reading your topic about what setup to choose. What Im going to do for my 2 12 setup is drop seats down and slide a box in through the cabin into the trunk. Doing this for me at least made it so I had more depth because the trunk opening wudnt allow me to yet a good box on there. This should allow you to get more depth and still keep width. Note that I am going to have the port and subs front firing sealed off. Edit. Just build one box. It will be easier and less work. Also it will save a lot of room since you don't have as many side walls.

How does the light around the sub work? Does it have a box with batteries at the end or wires that go to a power source such as amp or fuse box? Also I like how you have the box on the wagon haha

Go with 2 12s. You could probably fit 2 15s but I doubt the box will be optimal. Better to have 2 12s in the best box than 2 15s in a too small of a box. Build your own box and have someone on here design it for you. I'm sure someone would. This will get you the most out of your system. Also you won't be able to hear a difference between 1200 and 1500. I was in the same situation. I didn't know if I wanted 2 12 or 2 15 zcons. I went with 2 12 becus the box would be more optimal with that setup.

I have 2 crescendo pwx 10 mids single 8ohms that have never been powered or mounted. I bought them a few months ago along with some 6.5s. I used the 6.5s but never the 10s. I was planning on putting them in a wall in my trailblazer, but never completed it lol. I now have a new car and it's a lease so I'm just going to sell these cause they won't fit anywhere I would like them too. just trying to get 110 shipped anywhere in 48. I do live in Hartland, Mi. I will be in Flint during the week for college. Also occasionally in monroe at my dad's. If you are interested and near let me know and we can me up.

Same here where I live. None of my friends no who SSA is or any of the brands I buy. It's funny they're like Enrique is going with another brand nobody knows about haha. I think i'll probably stay with SSA for a while. I love my bc2000s. I bet the 5500 is sickkk!!

I'm not sure about this but how about the Crunch GP3000. I've seen them go for anywhere of 350 to 500 used. People SAY they will do 3k but i'm not sure. Just throwing the option out there. Edit: also don't buy a shitty amp just to have one. Save up for a good amp like the crescendo bc3500. You will be much happier in the end. Maybe borrow an amp from a friend or someone that way you can have some bass while you save. Gotta feed the addiction
