Id do something like what Quentin said. Rockford prime series are good. I would even buy a quality amp that's 500 rms then a shitty amp that's 1000rms. You really won't hear a difference in a few hundred rms. the box is more in important.

I like those kind of lows in those songs. I don't really know how to explain it but when you tune higher like you just did it makes the low lows like in those songs not play loud and stong. It also makes it sound weird and shitty.That's why I like the lower tuning of around 32hz. That's probably what is "wrong" with your setup.

Most likely the box is what is making it sound like shit. What are your external and port dimensions you put into Torres? Also what kind of music do you listen too? I would never tune over 35hz but that's just me.

The whole build will determine what subs to get. If you give the info I said you need to give then you will get a better chance of getting your question answered. Btw the X isn't even out so nobody knows if it's actually good or not. But I'm sure it is since it's sundown.

How the hell are we suppose to recommend anything to you when you only tell us what amp and car. We need to know usable space, music you listen to, goals etc.

A lot of peopl love the type Rs and IA comps but we can't tell really tell you what to get since what might sound good to you could sound like total shit to someone else. Best thing to do is to go to different audio shops and listen to them until you find what your ears like

Also the X and Z v.4 Like bigger boxes now. They can use the same box size as the Sa series but Jacob said they will do better in a larger box. For the 12s the optimal is 2.5-3 cubes.
