I've always thought that going overboard was excessive in most cases when it comes to sub wiring. Huge wires , tiny tensil leads. Yea it's stupid. My friend went to a shop to get speaker wire and they said he needs to use 4 ga to wire up his t1 12 to his amp. I showed him my sub with 10 ga wiring and he was like wtf

Okk first of all that sub doesn't need over 1000 really. If its a dual 2 sa then just wire it to 4 ohms so you don't blow it and then come back here complaining that it blew

4 ga for wiring up the subs is a little excessive. You will be fine with 12ga

Yea but that's usually when your box is shit and makes the system not as loud as it could be so all in all if he has a well built box with it being designed right and with around 2k he should be good.

If he knew what he was doing he would know he would not have to give the subs rather power or even over power them to make them loud.

I use 10 ga with my Zcon so 12 would be fine for you to use as wire from amp to subs. By flex you mean excursion of the sub?

You can't change the final ohm load from 1 to .5 ohm. I'm assuming you have a d2 sub on each amp wire to 1 ohm? If you wire the subs together you can get 2 ohms (if they are d2) and when strapping the amps both being ran at 1 ohm they will accept 2 ohms as the final ohm load.

Thanks. These are the M1s that are rated 5k@12v. The M1s is only 32" long as well. As for the price I would have to disagree about them being expensive. If you look at other comparable amps you will see that pricing is fairly similar if not better with B2. Here is the new store so you can see the prices. But I still take pride in making it look good. I knew it was going to be covered by the amp rack but still it was really organized! Your right it's not all that expensive compared to other amps similar in power.

Post some pics. You can leave the subs on each amp if you'd like. No really need to make one slave.

That looks very clean man. Nice job!! What do the B2 amps put out? I've seen a few of them but never looked into them. I only heard they were really nice, but expensive. They're huge haha I mean even with all the wires exposed in the pic 3 pics above, it doesn't look messy at all and looks good!

^^Exactly. Adding more power is the worse way to get louder. Build a newer box or try and face the box a different way first.

Not if it's a ssd or q 12 on 1000rms if you already have 1 of the 2 subs. If your picking 1 out of the 3 to buy I'd get the bl since you can alway add more power later on even though you don't need too. What's your goal by the way? That would better help you pick.

People need to learn that it's not the amp blowing the subs, it's the user. You set the gain and other settings wrong making it hard on the sub eventually leading to a fucked up sub. Learn to set things or have someone set them who knows what their doing.
