I would just play it safe and order with high qts and throw them in a sealed box. It just doesn't seem like it's going to work with the ported and those subs. Sealed box facing back is what I would do.

Yea sucks for the tight space back there. Like what swift said, your dimensions are too small. Maybe try port back and subs up so reverse box. That would probably work better. If not you might have to resort back to a sealed.

I'd say try different boxes for the 12s like both the subs and port facing back. A well designed ported box is better than a sealed. Are you joking about the skars being wonderful? Haha Wait, have you tried the subs in the box already? Or are you saying the re was like that? Try the Qs in the box you have and see how they are. That's the only way you'll know if it sounds good or not.

I'd do the 2 15s big jon has in a big box with your sundown 3k. That'd be loud!!!!

Are you going to build your own box and you can't get 14 cubes with seats up unless walling. Although, I really don't think blocking the back window is good if this is your daily driver.

I got the amp rack all cut up and put together. I need to finish sanding the box and amp rack tomorrow and then I can paint it. Which will be tomorrow. Most of my wire is ran. All wire should be layed out tomorow. Big 3 needs to be completed but I already have wire cut to size with ring terminals on and already know the places I'm putting them. My crescendo c1100.4 should be here friday. Wire will be ran for this by tomorrow. Audiocontrol lc2i should be here friday also. Hmm I might have this all done by saturday

Run it at 4 ohms to get the highest efficiency. From your amp at least. Get yourself a sub or subs that will have a final ohm load of either 1 or 4 ohms and wire them to 4 ohms .

That has nothing to do with the sub heating up. Sure maybe voltage drops make the amp work harder and heat up the coil more but that has nothing to do with how hot the sub gets. The woofer has poor cooling simple as that.It actually has everything to do with it. His alt is small as hell which means its going to be hard to keep voltage high. When voltage drops clipping can occur which will heat up the sub up real fast. I think clipping can be like 3x the power (not to sure I think I read that somewhere). Maybe that's why your sub was getting hot.

What amp is it? I'd get a dual 2 12" e or sd series and run the amp at 4 ohms. It'll make your system more efficient and less strain on equipment.

I doubt it. They do sales during holidays and Black Friday. They jus had 2 in the past 3 months. Unless theres a valentine day or st Patrick's sale then probably not
